Hi Guys, 1st forum post..

I've tried a number of things so far to no avail, here's my situation:

Xbox 360, All Previous saves / Downloadable Content deleted, JUST trying to start a new game.

OFFLINE (Update Not Installed)

(1) Game Installed - Freeze on "Obsidian" Screen, waited like 10-15 min, nothing

(2) Game Not Installed - Can Start / play game (yay!), BUT cannot manual save and autosave is disabled (it says something about my user profile for some reason, but I am signed in...)

ONLINE (Update Installed)

(1) Game Installed - Freeze On "Loading Downloadable Content, then get the "disk unreadable" message / crash

(2) Game Not Installed - same (Freeze On "Loading Downloadable Content, then get the "disk unreadable" message / crash)

the xbox runs other games fine, I'm confident it's not a hardware problem...

SO, does this sound familiar to anyone? Is there any way I can get the game to save my progress. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
