Fallout freezing Xbox

Hopefully you can help. The gaming system is an Xbox. I've been playing a new Fallout file for about a month now and it's been working fine up until 2 days ago when I was walking in the mall and it randomly froze. Fallout is glitchy and always freezes so I just restarted my Xbox. Now whenever I turn the game on it loads until the "Please Stand By" screen and then freezes. I can hear the disc begin to spin, but then it will stop immediately when it gets to the "Please Stand By" screen. Yes, I do see the irony in that. I also found out that the Xbox itself is not frozen, because if I eject the disk it will go back to the main menu.

Things that I have already tried:
Contacted Bethesda. Only 1 reply and the guy told me to delete my game cache by clicked left/right bumper and the X button. Did that. Also tried the X X left bumper, right bumper XX. Deleted my system cache too. Downloaded the newest patch. Cleaned the disc. Tried another game (worked fine, so it's not an early sign of red rings or an Xbox disc reading problem). Played it as a different player, same deal. Deleted my newest save, so it's not a corrupted save. Unplugged my Xbox and plugged it back in. I'm literally at a loss, and I can't find anything on the internet relating to it. There's only freezes/crashes for computer. The game disc is not made corrupted either because I've been playing it since February. Some people say it's a corrupted save, but it won't even get to the title screen to load save files so I HIGHLY doubt that's it. Some people say that it could have been a vibration or someone hitting the Xbox while it was on that damaged the disc. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY CLUE. Anything will help. Thanks a bunch!
