Guys, you are missing the point. The funds gamesas needs for the Fallout MMO are critically required at the beginning of the project( maybe in installments) in order to maintain the license and proceed with paying the developers and continuing to pay for rent and admin costs.
Eventually, when the Fallout MMO is released, added revenue will be a good thing to keep the developer interested in supporting and expanding on the game.
The best way I can think of right now to raise money other than someone buying a large equity stake in the company and its Fallout MMO is to have a dutch auction style fund raising ala the google IPO.
Even though IPLY currently trades on the OTCBB, if the management is shrewd they could decide to setup a marketplace to sell IPLY shares and warrants directly to Fallout MMO fans.
The rabid fans will buy whatever they can afford by paying market price for the shares issued with warrants/options for discounts on additional purchases once the stock picks up.
I know that Herve Caen is raising funds privately from more bankrolled investors but it does not hurt to let the fans in on the development so they can enjoy the fruit of their investment and even profit from the money that the Fallout MMO brings in.
There are a bunch of rabid fans here and on other sites that would surely get lots of people on board to buy newly issued shares in order to fund the game. This will also give them more incentives on the success of the game and evangelizing it to their friends and peer group of gamers.
Unless gamesas has the funds and is playing possum while getting the project up and running, this idea could be a revolutionary and first of its kind way of game development fund raising at least a few hundred thousand if not million that is gamesas Management is paying attention
If this were going on and not diluting existing shareholders more than the cozy deals that management have, investors in gamesas could be emboldened to want to buy more shares and support the stock price and hence the company so maybe a bigger company can lend a hand with more capital via a stake but not at these bottom basemant prices.
Hear that Herve
