Fallout Game Set before 2077 : Fallout Series Discussion

I love the Fallout series. I am always caught wondering what the fallout world was like before the great nuclear apocalypse. Just like at the beginning of fallout 3, you would be born; Not in a vault, but in a home in DC. Born in the year 2044, you would experience the world before the bombs fall. You would have choices on your job, having a family, and deciding whether or not to buy a spot in a vault, and using your knowledge on the vaults pick the right one. I believe this should be the next game in the series. Or could this be the next DLC for fallout 3. Leave your ideas and creative input for this game or DLC below.

Fallout 3's not getting anymore DLC's, and this would kind of be a boring game.

Josh Sawyer had an idea for a game that took place during the resource wars, but this? No, I have tranquility lane to scar my mind.

Anything before the time of Fallout would not be Fallout. Resource Wars sounds like an interesting idea but its not really Fallout. I don't really want to know to much about the Great War. Its apart of the mystery of fallout."The details are trivial and pointless, the reason as always purely human ones."

I admit. The aliens were horrible. Why couldn't they have stopped after the anol probe? It was pure suffering after that. :cryvaultboy:

Yep they were horrible and best left forgotten like the BoS. Still even those that are fans of Mothership Zeta say that there is no proof Aliens started the great war, although it is implied that they had something to do with it :banghead:

I got the impression they were studying all of our defenses for a possible invasion- knowing more or less how to shut our defenses down before we could mount an effective resistance. That and they didn't really seem to show great interest in the years following, they just continued abducting people. Our nuclear apocalypse probably made their invasion plans moot- they no longer want the planet.

I'd say the only thing the Aliens shown in Zeta are guilty of is anol [censored] The Lone Wanderer, and playing biological guinea pig with humans. I have to admit, the log of the man who had the alien thing put him always unnerves me.
