Fallout 4 gore?

Post » Thu Nov 26, 2015 9:43 am

How do you think the gore will be? I loved how in Fallout 3 you could dismember limbs and .. well you know about head shots. lol

Do you think it will look more realistic or about the same?

I think they're really going to push how heavy and chunky gore can be using physics. Watching something explode in VATS was one of the most satisfying parts of the game. This can only be improved!

It would be cool if you can blow particular parts away like: nose, hands, the right side of the head.

It just wouldn't be the same if I punched someone with a Power Fist and they DIDN'T explode into a spray of chunks.

I hope so, I just don't like how in fallout 3 you shoot a guy in the head with a 10mm pistol and he gets decapitated but head is still in tact.

I like the approach of new vegas where you have a much higher chance of just exploding their head rather than decapitating them.

But yes, I love the gore, and seeing in vats the camera follow a bullet into a dude's head and it exploding into chunks in slow motion is just awesome.

It will most likely be the same concept but more explicit.

I also expect cannibalism to make a reappearance. With more gore.

You shouldn't need to have Bloody Mess perk to blow someone to bits with a mini-nuke.

I'm hoping that disintegrations will be more graphic, and more unique (electrical effects when fried by an alien or electrical weapon, burning effects when fried by a laser).

It'd be nice to see fallout 1 and 2 style energy weapons disintegration, instead of a pile of ash they turn into a gruesome pile of liquified melted flesh, blood and bone.

Think kinda like how the people's faces melted in raiders of the lost Ark when they opened the arc.

Hopefully they give an option to do no gore, standard, and then the kind you got with the Bloody Mess perk. I mean, I could tolerate the way it was in F3 and NV, but I don't particularly find any enjoyment from seeing it, so it would be nice if Bethesda included an option. It would also be cool if they included a language filter option similar to how the original Fallout games were, as I don't particularly find hearing foul language to be very entertaining either.

No violence , no foul language , no nudity.

I don't want a PG 12 raiting on a Fallout game.

hope it's gonna be more realistic this time. Not just head/torso/arm/leg/whatever exploding from the inside lol

It will probably be like the previous Fallout games, funny, gruesome and over the top. Heads exploding, limbs falling, desintegration, goo, etc...

It adds quite a bit of flavor to the game.

It would be optional as it was in the original two Fallout games. Excessive violence, foul language, and nudity are not even close to necessary to make a game good.

Not really.

In Bethesda games you only can't kill kids, everything else is fair game. I don't want to be walking in a PG-rated post-apocalyptic wasteland, takes away the immersion.

If you don't like seeing gore, then you shouldn't be killing in the first place. Just invest in Sneak and sneak past everyone.

Otherwise get the German version, last I heard Germany bans blood in video games, law could have changed though.

I be thinking besides child killing, things like gang [censored], and the actual act of graphical physical torture are not going to be there, just suggested. So not everything else is fair game, unless you are speaking of mods... I don't know that they can change the language ques much, but gore is certainly filterable, it was done in Skyrim.... (decapitations being a perc setting)

Well yeah, if it goes above an M-rating. I was talking about whatever is allowed in M-ratings.

There should be permanent blood splatters on walls and on the ground.
