I just bought the Fallout 3 GOTY edition on steam and when the game is starting up it is just a black screen, the launcher loads fine, and it allows me to change video options etc. (I've tried changing the video options to get it to run, windowed mode etc). I've tried the 'number of cores' fix aswell as another .ini fix which i think disabled the intro video (I tried using d3d9.dll at this point aswell). I've also tried running the game in different compatibility modes and with the other options in windows under 'compatibility'. I've also tried loading the game through FOMM to no avail.
