I've read multiple posts on the topic that there are some issues with Win7 64bit.

It seems I have the very same problems with my Win7 Home Premium.

I just bought the GOTY edition and installed it. And now the game freezes after a short period. For example, when starting a new game it shows the intro, and freezes right before the newborn part.

Although I managed to pass that situation it starts freezing in short random periods after that.

My system is a Intel Core i3 with 2.27 GHz, RAM is 4.00 GB, Win7 Home Premium 32bit. The graphics are Geforce 310M (512 MB).

I'm very dissapointed at the moment as it seems that it might be nearly impossible to run run that game on Win7 without any issues.
