I'm thinking of buying Fallout 3 GOTY edition and since I have heard that the ps3 is region free I thought I could perhaps import the game from the US. I would get it alot cheaper and also brand new. I'm playing on a pal console and I have a few questions that perhaps you can answer.

Is the game truly region free?
Are the dlc's on the disc or do you have to download them from psn, and if so, would this be a problem considering my ps3 being pal region?
Not sure how game updates work, would the difference in region be an issue?
