Fallout 3: GOTY problem

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 3:31 am

Hello. I have a huge problem with the game. I've reached 7-8 lv, theh i quit the game and after 4-5 hours i start the game (continue game) and it put me back in the moment when i leave the vault - at the begining of the game - with no weapons , no markers, no notes noting..... Then i try back and same [censored] over and over again... THe interesting is while the game is loading it show's that i'm level 8 and suddenly put me back outside of the Vault 101. So someone have any solutions ? I would appreciate it .

PS: Sorry for my english.

Instead of continuing, load a previous save?

Well i try to load previous game and same [censored] happen. Even remove the DLC marks and noting again. I think to preinstall the game but i'm afraid i will lose the save games.

Sounds like yeah, you will have to reinstall. I'd however, move this topic to the software forum, before reinstalling and perhaps someone there knows what is going on.

edit: you're only at level 7ish, so it can't be that bad.

Reinstall didn't help either. Yeah level 7 but i play more than 10 hours and now all over again. Crap.

I don't know that I can help, but are you playing on PC or console?

That means your save game is corrupted, there's nothing you can do about it. If your other saves are doing the same thing as well, then they are also corrupted. It might be a good idea to run a disk check as that could be an indication that there's something wrong with your hard drive.

Try starting a new game sometimes the save gets corrupted, are you using the latest patch?
