295 gtx sli 260.89 driver
920 i7 @ 3.81 ghz

Game runs pretty well although the game freezes for a second when I use the alien blaster type weapons. The problem I have is the vats lag, VERY bad vats lag, it will literally freeze my computer for like 10 seconds and then it will slowly zoom in on my targeted enemy, my fps drops to about 4 fps and usually vats reads 0% chance to hit on everything. I can't even select what limb to hit because it lags so bad. I've tried older drivers for the 295 gtx, 182.06, 182.50, and 181.22. with the 182.06 driver the vats lag seems slightly - SLIGHTLY better, but it's still really bad. Anyone know a fix?

I have the same OS as you glo_Op just running a little diffrent setup

CPU AMD Athlon X2 4800 2.5Ghz
RAM 4 GIGS DDR2 800
Vid Card ATI 5570 1GIG DDR3

Ok when I go into VATS during gameplay I never notice any lag but I do have a question do you have anything running in the back ground during game play because when I first start it FO3 I have 2 programs running that seem to cause conflict with the game I shut them down and everything works awsome now.
