My Fallout 3 has a Problem that no one has had

So my Fallout 3 GOTY has a problem that I don't think anyone has ever had, for the record, this is a digital copy I got off of Steam and it has been modded with FOMM and I do use FOSE and I have also run the game in the vanilla style. So here's how it goes, my Fallout 3 has been running fine so far with no problems, only the occasional mod that doesn't work. When I got FOSE the game ran infinitely better than before, no question. So everything, and I mean everything runs fine, I even did the Operation Anchorage DLC before hand because I felt like it. But then I get to the very last part of the game where I have to turn on the purifier and then it transitions to Broken Steel, so I go in activate it, cut scene plays and then the game is just stuck with me lying on the ground staring at the celling. The game hasn't frozen because I can still press a button that makes my character gurgle a bit and I can still pause the game to go back to a save or quit the game and the game hasn't crashed, at least to my knowledge. So at first I thought it might be an issue with FOSE and some incompatibly issue with Fallout's code since Bethesda is kinda [censored] at coding things so then I run the game in the regular steam launcher and still I have the same problem. So then I think it might be an issue with one of my mods so I uninstall the only mod that could possibly be interfering with the game but it still won't work. I have exhausted all my options, I tried checking the fourms to see if anyone else had my problem but no dice. So now I am on my knees begging you all to please help me figure this thing out, if you need clarification on anything then I can give it to you, any of the mods I have installed, more details on the issue anything. Just please try and help me.

To completely rule out a mod issue, disable all of your mods, then load the game and see if it plays.

Do you have an earlier save from not too many playing hours back, and have you tried using that?

You have a Race Mod, that stops the BOS transition. See this thread, started by someone you might recognize, for the two different ways to fix this

BTW, everyone has this problem, that's why someone even made a mod for it.

That doesn't necessarily mean it's not caused by a mod. Some errors can remain in the game through your save even though the original mod causing it has been disabled.

Actually not even sure what your problem is.

Are you not able to continue on the broken steel quests after the original fallout 3 ?

If so this is a common problem ,, pick a save that is before entering the jefferson memorial , activate broken steel , then play out the senario. easy peasy ...
