For me they deserve every bit of success they are getting, after revolutionalizing dynamic RPG's (building). It's practically two games in one.

I don't know how reliable vg chartz is though. It says Fallout 4 sold .45 million on PC, yet there was a similar amount of people playing on the first day. Also, steamspy says there are 2.2 million owners right now. (http://steamspy.com/)
