The crashed alien ship on fallout 3 got me thinking, I mean they should base the storey line in fallout 4 around an alien invasion like now that the world is in ruins and weve destroyed ourselves the aliens think its a good idea to invade and capitalise on our demise, you could have all the factions fighting for power and civilisation with a main charactor who is set on unifiying the people that are left over against the invaders. they could make it seem like were idiots 4 destroying ourselves when theres aliens trying to destroy us/slave us, oh and have bad guys who want to help the aliens. N maybe the aliens have a cure for radiation or something that the charactor has to get like the water purifyer storyline kinda thing.

The aliens were a gag in the Fallout universe. It was overplayed and made realistic in Fallout 3, the writers believing they had been continuing the story of the mysterious UFO from Fallout 2. It wasn't funny in Fallout 3 like it had been in the previous ones. It was black comedy originally as government conspiracies were constantly made fun of and had became part of the original framework of Fallout 2, like how all the Vaults were social experiments. Liberty Prime, while what he said was funny, was badly done and became a huge walking plot hole, since he should have been a pile of junk sitting in the citadel as a huge turret or a slow lumbering pile of junk with no weapons that should have been easily stopped. His weapons working was total [censored] if you read the reports and the fact he had been a 200 year old thrown-together-robot built out-of-necessity-as-a-walking-talking-defense-budget-splurge, another black comic joke I thought was funny till it worked, to help the US fight an enemy like the Chinese that they lost to. It should have only been a joke and that it, it would have been better if the Enclave assaulted the Citadel and Liberty Prime, in its last use of helpfulness fired off a blast that vaporized the attackers. That would have made sense.

what aliens would see benefit in taking over a smoldering nuclear wasteland of a planet?

oh and i dont think liberty prime was ever sent to anchorage to help the US he wasnt operational so they used power armors instead

got me thinking maybe the aliens made c=the world destroy itself because it would then be easier for them to capture

In a nuclear war you have pretty much destroyed everything, the "bang, bang" guns and the resources, the aliens were always more advanced, the blaster, than we were, at least their spaceships actually got into space. An alien attack would take away from the true story of Fallout, human tragedy and the irony of war, among humans. Defiantly, would not be part of a sequel of any Fallout game maybe "When Mars Attacks: Fallout". :lmao:

Yes, I think the Alien Idea has a very small potencial, as a theme its not original, and it is heading to the other way from the fallouts origin,far far away.
Many ideas about continuing fallout story are great,cool and so,but I think many many sugestions are meant like make some great,huge and glorious,but im sure that many great results are coming from the most easiest ideas...

Maybe its a gag maybe its because they want to make us think about it...even if there is no sense...I think these meetings are pretty cool little details that are surprising us. I enjoy it, but Im sure I really wouldnt like if it was a main topic of the next f.

So you can have that nifty alien blaster, every little mystery in the game can't have a separate game made based on it. I mean, if they made a game for every un-explained thing in Fallout then they'd have to make a game for every Vault not mentioned.

they could have at least made a small camp near the spaceship with like stranded alien settlers in would be good fight + u dont get enough ammo for the blaster anyways.

could have even put an alien mission where they ask u to find loadsa scrap n [censored] to fix there ship n get the hell outa coz the wasteland is such a [censored]hole lol like in exchange for some cool tech or something...

Alien games are lame, that's just it, it's been done so much that turning a universe like Fallout into some alien conspiracy would turn a lot of players off from the franchise. And, what exactly is scary about aliens in a game? Sorry if I'm not 10 years old and want something more out of a game then alien invasions.
