Fallout 4 is an incredible game. Will become a legend.

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 1:09 am

What I have seen so far Fallout 4 is an incredible game, and it will become classic that will remembered in years to come. The more you play, sometimes you take a few days break to continue later, the better it becomes. With dlc and updates many will replay the game in the future multiple times.

Those initial reactions to trailers and previews have been proven wrong...people are simply expecting impossible these days.

It is not as dark and gloomy as Fallout 3 was, not even nearly as scary, but it has more replay value.

Someone say The Last Of Us is a good game, it is for one time with average gameplay and poor combat. What else is there beside good (and sad) story? Not much. Fallout 4 is so much more...I dont even want that kind of linear story in it hahah

Probably not. It might be remembered as BGS worst game so far though.

Yay, someone else that likes the game. :)

Don't worry, old time fallout fans will soon be here to tell you why you are having wrongbadfun because you like a game.

Me, I have been having a ball. Taking a break to make pumpkin pie and tidy up the house though, before guests come over tomorrow. :D

Edit: Lol, yep, before I even finished my little post.... I guess it is always a developers own forum that are the worst for a game.

You sound just like the people who say Skyrim is bad. It may not be what YOU wanted, but it's still going to be very popular, just like Skyrim. Even if the game isn't as replayable as previous fallouts, mods always extend the playability and this time the engine is better.

I'm on ps4 and have not had a single bug in game yet with my character being lvl 53 now. Idk what others are experiencing, but my experience has been one of pure joy. And I have played this series since it's creation. This is only my opinion though.

On your computer, the PC version is a buggy POS. One of the benefits for consoles is that everyone is using the same hardware so it doesn't have the problems that PCs cause.

In apocalyptic world with big guns, those little rpg elements that some people ask for would have little worth. And to create a game that deep would take 15 years to develop anyway.

I'm playing on the PC and this game is far from a buggy mess. I loving the game and think its one of the best games (if not the best) BGS has made.

I got it about a week ago. I'm at lvl 45 now with the best of everything in the game. This is the point in other games where I really start to lose interest. Except now I have hordes of materials to build settlement strongholds and screw around with for a good long time. I have barely touched the main quests and couldn't care less about it. So far I love that I am not forced to go trudging through a dimly lit hated vault every five seconds. The only vault I have gone into is the one with the Overseer's Guardian. The graphics are much better as is the combat. My only complaint so far is horrible character facial expressions and models, constantly have to go through irradiated areas or getting attacked by radiation spewing ghouls, and my biggest gripe is that my .308 is doing much more damage than my .50 caliber. Wtaf Bethesda?

You mean like the infinite load screens, freezing, crashing and instances where controls completely stop working and I'm forced to perform a power cycle on my Xbox One?

Yeah it's been going great for me on the console version of the game considering all of the above I've experienced thus far. The only silver lining is that it isn't as bad as the Witcher 3 was in terms of bugs so far.

That's weird the only bugs I have experienced on the One is my workshop shows up green until I interact with it. I think it's something to do with the tagging mechanic. Also in the load screens sometimes the objects show up green. Nothing game breaking so far for me

Hey, welcome to the forums. I see you got less than a warm welcome from the Obsidian fans. Not surprising. Yes, it is a great game. What gives it even more replay value is the fact you can join the different factions. I'm over 150 hours of game time and have experienced only a couple of bugs and glitches.

I have to say that I love it. I played about 5 hours today and really did nothing constructive. Just wandered around exploring. So many things that are not on your pip boy map.

Not everyone experiences the same things: I've had games where it seems like everyone is having issues and I never experience a single bug; conversely I've also had experiences in games like Witcher 3 where I couldn't play until a month after release. Bugs are also generally experienced by a minority of players and I'm sure people have experienced far worse than I.

I will note that so far New Vegas was my least buggy Bethesda game, followed by Fallout 3. Sadly some of the game-breakers for Fallout 3 have yet to be fixed on console, I don't know about New Vegas though.

Ive enjoyed playing but I dont like the fact that you do the same things for BOS and the Institute. You have to kill the RR in both. Same ending. In many ways it contradicts what we find in the past games but I'm hoping the DLCs will shed light on some of these. I wish they gave more background on the BOS airship, why was the Institute experimenting with FEV on DR Zimmer's orders? Are all the FREAKING cats products of the Institute? Also, it seems a good portion of the main characters are sythns. Also the child synth cant grow old which contradicts Institutes terminal entry on androids vs synthetic humans.

Some people still expect the impossible, though. Infact, it seems to feed their delusion.

yea, but the overwhelming majority do. Unfortunately, the haters are always the loudest. Well, that and the people who like it are spending a good bit of time playing it, while, inexplicably enough, the ones who don't like it spend all their time here complaining. Makes no sense. Just don't pay them any mind, and remember, sometimes you just have to laugh at the absurd :D

I was simply speaking to the other people that had posted previous to the thread blowing up lol. Was not trying to imply that everyone on the forums does. Sorry for the confusion.

Simply : Welcome in the console world !!

Since i start to play fallout 4, yes i actually play it and finish the main story with the BOS, the institute and the railroad. I think the Fallout series take a big step and become a console game. It simplify as hell, the world is scrip like we never saw before, npc unkillable, really little impact on the world, most of the location hide behind loading screen ...

The game make the player think less more action, less RP and RPG stuff.

Look right at the start you get a power armor, before you had to play hours for have it. With the minutemen really soon you take the castle with a big boss in high level like mission. Everything is made for give fast action and power. That simple i feel like i play a COD.

I think at the end the problem is not the game. the game is ok nothing amazing but not bad. The problem is the target of this game, i can bet that most a people who like this game are young and didn't grow up with the fallout 1 and 2 ( fallout one was the first pc game game i buy). this game is a fast action , fast power, need less thinking and more action.

the original fallout series was a deep rpg, a mature game, where you had to play hours for earn your power, where each of your action impact the world .....

So that explain why is so much people who don't like the game. Is a confrontation between generation. And sadly Bethesda will make game on the way it make money, they don't care about the heart of the game.

I don't know if I would go as far as saying it will become a legend. But it is certainly a good game that has achieved a fair amount of critical success as well as successful sales, so it certainly won't be chalked up as a failure either(except by people whose expectations it didn't live up to. But lets be real, those people seem to be in the minority).

Move this to spoilers, since there was at least one spoiler I did not know, probably others,

Also, some more posts were removed - repetitive posting your same opinion in random threads, regardless of the topic, is spamming. And it will be dealt with.
