Does Mart's Mutant Mod - Project Beauty + FWE.esp handle both the Standard and HD version of Project Beauty? I was using it with the HD version and everything seemed to work fine, but when I switched to the Standard version, I see raiders with giant red exclamation mark triangles. They go away if I deactivate Mart's Mutant Mod - Project Beauty + FWE.esp. It's also possible I made a mistake when switching Project Beauty versions, but I thought I'd check here first.

With the Laser Rifle, the Laser Sight from FWE-WMK and FWE-WMK-EVE FOIP patches doesn't reduce the minimum spread. I don't know if it has an effect in VATS, but it is not reducing the spread as it supposed to in normal play. The auto fire increases the minimum spread from zero to 0.5, adding the laser sight should decrease that to around 0.33 (though the original WMK reduces it to 0.25).

I have Fiop MMM+PB+FWE when I click on in fomm I get this ' WARNING: This plugin has the file extension .esp, but its file header marks it as an esm!' The Fiop I have is the latest one.

That's from FO3MasterUpdate. Did you run it yourself or was it left that way by accident from the creators?

I check header with FO3edit and it had tick next to ESM. I thought this file is a plug in. The warning came from Fallout 3 Mod Manager.

MasterUpdate is a function of FO3Edit. It's used to make the game more stable with a lot of mods by treating all the files as Master files.

Presumably, the creators of that file forgot to switch the file back to normal before uploading it. It's not a problem, but you should either run the Restore option to revert it to normal or use the MasterUpdate to convert all your files.

There's some information here on MasterUpdate and MasterRestore: http://modsreloaded.com/how-to-reduce-crashing-using-fo3edit-t2473.html

I'm having trouble getting my copy to work. All the mods have been recently downloaded and all I can get is CTDs from the game intro. I've adjusted the load order to be as correct as I can find. I made a merged patch and I just can't think of anything else to do.

EVE.esm - EVE 0.97 isn't compatible at the moment. The new FOIP patch is still being worked on.

Mart's Mutant Mod - Master Menu Module.esp - Not needed.

FO3 Wanderers Edition - Optional Restore Tracers.esp - Probably shouldn't have two of these.

Mart's Mutant Mod - Project Beauty + FWE.esp - New MMM release just today with a new FOIP patch to go along with it. Might as well pick that up.

Thank you very much for the help and speedy response, I'll post if it works.

*EDIT* What should I do about EVE? Should I just disable it or should I get an earlier version?

I personally got an earlier version 0.96 and it works fine.

If you're starting a brand new game, I'd forgo EVE for now and only install it after the new patch is done.

The reason is that if you upgrade from 0.96 to 0.97 mid-game, you'll likely lose all EVE originated items you found due to the switch to the ESM/ESP format. The game will no longer be able to find the correct items and will delete them from your game. There may be a way around that, but I don't know if a reliable method has been created yet.

If you wait, then any unique items will be placed when you install EVE and you'll be able to pick them up then without fear of them disappearing in future updates.

Should Centaur Tongues and Boar Meat be added to the Real Needs food list in the MMM/FWE patch?

Hey guys. I've spent the last couple of days reinstalling FO3 and gathering up the latest mods & all.

I've followed the available load order cues, but I've got a couple of questions left.

- "Enhanced Weather - Sneak Bonus during Storms.esp" - I'm sure I used EW+Fellout before, but I don't remember if this mod can be used with FWE.
- "xCALIBRamm_FWE.esp" anyone know where this one goes? It looks like the right place ... I think ... the readme doesn't say :S

... everything else looks correct from I know and faintly remember, although I won't mind a quick lookover (or three) by someone who knows more :)

I take it this is the reason I can only use FWE+EVE 0.97 or FWE+WMK, but not all three together? Trying to get the main menu to show up when I had all three was driving me nuts, I'm glad it's not because of some nooby mistake I was making.

EVE 0.97 won't work "properly" with any of them - the FOIP patch is for 0.96 only. If you try to use it with FWE, one will overwrite the other.

So... how is the patch for EVE 0.97 and FWE coming along? Is it close to release or we still have to wait a while?

I'm trying to run MMM, Project Beauty, Darn UI, FWE, and the patches necessary to get them to work together, but what order should I go about installing these and is there anything special in particular I should do while installing them or be aware of?

Thank you for helping, but I didn't mean the load order yet. I'm not that far along. I just mean, what order they should be installed so something dosen't overwrite something else improperly or does it not matter? Also, I'd need CRAFT and CALIBR, unless those are included in the latest version of FWE. Right now, I have the game with all the DLC, FOMM and FOSE. Just need to know my next step to having a fully and properly functioning experience with FWE.

1)No, they have no "files" that overwrite each other, only the settings in the ESM and ESP, thus they should be loaded in that order.
2) Yes, FWE pack comes with both CRAFT and CALIBR

EDIT: Err, Project beauty might have some texture overwrites with MMM but that hardly matters which one you choose.

Okay, thanks for the help. I'd only imagine its the Raider textures that'd get overwritten by PB, but they should be better anyways. I can always use Paint.NET to see how they look. Thanks again, now I can get started.

The only one that I can recall with a overwrite issue is that DarN UI needs to be installed before the FWE patch for DarN UI.

Thanks, I got DUI installed first thing so thats good. I'm installing part 1 of FWE now, but I'm concerned whether or not I should click the optional Followers Enhanced feature. I'm wondering if it conflicts with any other popular mods that I might want to install later on. Why is it optional?
