I'd maybe load WMK before MMM . . but it doesn't matter too much for those.

also, on the FWE nexus page, I've added an optional file that is "Mez's Merged Patch" which creates a clean tidy merged file for using FWE, WMK, and MMM with all the DLC's. That should cover the appropriate merging of the needed formlist for WMK and FWE in particular. Id' start with that one =)

Does this load order look ok? I made a merged patch with all the FOOK and WMK files and their masters loaded, is this enough or should I make the patch with all plugins loaded?

So with this merged patch I don't need to make a merged patch with FO3edit? Can I use my personal Merged Patch with yours if I use different mods including the ones you merged?

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong but I was using the FOLOT program to sort my load order and well, even with that I am still getting crashes on startup with all the FOIP stuff on (minus XFO). Below is two load orders I have used with no success...

I'm just about finished installing FOIP and I'm curios about one little thing.

In the MMM package there is a MMM - FOOK2.esp and a MMM - FOOK2 - DIK.esp

Use these both? The readme didn't give explicit instructions or details so i thought I'd check here first.

Yes, I would want to use both. The DIK is for the FOOK DLC support file, which you'll also need to be running.

I have a problem of mod load order I've tried everything to make it work i have tried to uncheck every mod one at a time following the FOIP load order possibility and the FWE+FOOK2 merger load order and my game still don't want to run and it makes me so frustrating!
so if you can help me or or tell me who can

FWE includes CFW so you don't want Classic Fallout Weapons BETA.esp

Mez's Merged Patch - FWE-WMK-MMM.esp requires MMM which you don't have.

You also have FO3 Wanderers Edition - UFP Support.esp loaded eventhough you don't actually have UFP. You need to read a bit more carefully before enabling mods willy nilly.

Just a quick question. I haven't gone through all the pages.
I just downloaded WMK and the only other overhaul mod I use is MMM. Do I need a FOIP plugin for those two? Or, because one is weapons the other monsters it's not needed?

Although they're dismembered completely they're still running around and shooting at me :o.

I've had that happening to me (using FWE, MMM, WMK).

Had to drop EVE to stop it.

Had a serious WTF moment after sniping an Enclave outpost with the A3-21.

Nothing more fun than to suddenly be fighting a bunch of heavily armed ghosts in Powerarmor! ;)

Thanks for finding that one cause EVE looks like fun!

You don't have to. Just grab the http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8629 from Fallout3Nexus and read the section about "Creating a Patch Plug-in (Manual Method)". The basic idea is to override a conflicting entry with a new one including all the changes made by the EVE - FWE Master Release.esp to A3-21's Plasma Rifle. FO3Edit helps you to find the conflict and to create a new esp with the new entry to override the others.

I just started modding my game (but I have some experience from Oblivion, so I'm not completely new at this). Besides a couple of retextures, animations, and such, the only mods that I am interested in applying at the moment are FOOK2, FWE, MMM, WMK, and possibly EVE. I've been trying to digest a lot of information about these, but from what I can tell I should be able to do this if I also use

FOIP (EVE for FWE)

FOIP (WMK and FOOK2)

FOIP (WMK and FWE)

FOIP (MMM package)

and FWE-FOOK merger

as long as I get the load order set up properly (and make the merged patch to make WMK work). Could someone tell me if I am correct about this? The main thing I'm not sure of is the FWE-FOOK merger. The file says that it's for FOOK2 but I keep seeing people talking about how they aren't really compatible since the change to FOOK2.

Check out the http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1062103&hl=thread for some insight regarding load order. Otherwise, yes, you'll need to use all of those FOIP patches and the FWE-Merger Files. Streetstar5 is handling the merget files on the Nexus, and eventually we'll be moving all of that into the FOIP page as well. And they are designed for FOOK2.

what level of interactivity do the Mods from WMK affect FOOK weapons

first i have
CALIBR
FOOK2 v1.0
WMK
Phalanx(which i have disabled to verify that it wasn't interfering)
a couple of other minor mods that have nothing to do with weapons, armor or crafting at all(all of which have also been disabled to verify they werent interfering)

if you want an exact load order i can supply it, but after reading around a bit im 99% sure that's all in order

now that all the info is out there, here's the issue

SOME FOOK weapons have SOME Weapon Mod Kits availible, some have full functionality (i.e. multiple kits) some have one kit(and ussually not the one i'd expect but w/e)
and some weapons that i would think should be obvious choices for mods arent supported.

so are they just not supported yet or have i missed something

What you're seeing should be correct.
Creating a new WMK variant is a lot of work. The model has to be created, a weapon of each possible combination needs to be created in the GECK, etc...
FOOK adds a large number of weapons, so it's to be expected that not every type is supported.
