thats what i was hoping was the case, i can deal with it until i get more comfortable with GECK or someone else who is comes along and updates it(which is by far the more likely scenario)

i have a little problem. I try to run Fallout 3 Version 1.7 with all DLCs (Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Lookout, Zeta) and the following overhauls / bigger mods:
FWE, MMM, EVE and WMK. I attend the FOIP load orders and use BOSS, but my game still crashes on start.

Try disabling EVE. I have a similar load order and EVE messed things up for me.

Hm ... i looked at Fallout3Nexus, the 0.95 seems to be the current version!?


EDIT: i deactivated EVE and all compatbility-patches but nothing changes. F3 still crashes.

another edit: my fault. i didn't use the current EVE version 0.95. My EVE is still 0.92. I will download the current version and try it. I will post if it works or not ^^

You're right sorry, missread that.

And yes another problem would be that he is using
WeaponModKitsDV.esp

Which is incompatible with all the other WMK addons and would cause a crash on startup.

Hi guys,

I'm a total newb when it comes to adding things to Fallout and I'm having issues with crashes on start up.

Could you please (pretty please with sugar AND a cherry on top!) go through my load order and see where I'm going wrong?

The mods are set out according to the Overhaul Load Order except for the big chunk of mods at the end. They're a bit messy to be honest, but I've disabled all of the ones in the block of mess and the game still crashes on start-up.

Any tips or help would be amazing, I'm really pulling my hair out on this one!

Crash on startup is usually due to a missing master (ESM file). Check that you have all the re-requisites. I seem to remember that Arefu expanded uses a hair mod, but I can't find any in your load order?

brookecompanion.esm <----- make sure this is the Lings Finer Things Version and not the Project Beauty version
RR Companion Vault 20thCW Supply.esp <----- Lose this one. You need the 20th Century Weapons esm to use this file

Thanks for the tips guys.

I disabled the 'LingsPrettyThings-SeducingWomen.esp' and the 'MegatonContracts-Linged.esp' and the game seems to load fine.

Is there any reason why the above two files are causing an issue?

I completely missed those two. You need the main files for SW and Megaton Contracts in order to "Ling" them.

Merge FOOK2+FWE+XFO? If you have to ask, you don't. :)
Even combining FWE+FOOK requires a lot of work, and adding another overhaul into the mix is not recommended. It would be easier to make your own overhaul.

No, the currently available version of WMK-FOOK2 is not compatible with FOOK2 v1.1. I'm working to update it right now; should be finished fairly soon.

I've just released WMK-FOOK2 v1.0.3, which achieves compatibility between WMK v1.1.9 and FOOK2 v1.1. Grab it from the http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4968.

I gave it a quick test, but as it's quite an extensive update, with thousands of edits across hundreds of weapon variants, it is possible I missed something; so if anyone encounters any problems, please let me know.

Hello, i have a bit of a problem. First of all, having the following mods installed i sometimes run into CTDs when running in the wasteland (not in interiors), but that's not really troublesome.
My main problem is that i'm currently stuck in Ferragult Metro, following the main quest. If i try to leave the area, whether i try to go back or forward, i get a CTD. Also if i try to save i get a CTD as well, whether its a regular save or a quicksave. I tried uninstalling the mods related to FOIP, patches included, and everything worked flawlessly so i could move to the new area and reactivate the mods, but in doing so i lost all my new items related to these mods. I'd like to know if i'm doing something tragically wrong with the load order, since im a bit confused about the different versions... in fact some of the FOIP patches seem to require a bit older versions of the mods i have, even though i downloaded the latest ones.

Two notes:
- I may be wrong, but from what i understand, if i dont use the UPP module that edits vanilla perks it shouldn't conflict with FWE
- In case i should put the whole MMM section before the series of single mods, i tried doing it already, with no results.
