Fallout 4 item management

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 11:45 am

Who else thinks that they shuld make the items we find in the game and things we take from people we kill and let us decorate our homes with them in a actual customization screen rather than just dropping stuff and hoping it goes and lands where you want it. We could buy things like the Nuka Cola fridge at shop or take one and put it in our house and then maybe have a multipllayer component where you could go and rate other people's homes and even download the schematic and make it yours.

It seems a tad bit unnecessary, house decoration is such a insignificant part of the game. I'd rather see them put more time into the important things. Also, there will never be multiplayer especially for something so useless.

If I wanted to decorate a house I'd play The Sims or The Sims 2 or The Sims 3 or The Urbz.
So yeah, instead of spending time and resources on something so incredibly pointless it's better that they prioritize important aspects to improve.
Hell, in FO1,2 and T we didn't even have "homes".

Fallout is the story of the wastes, not a room. Not for me I'm afraid

I would like maniquins (sp?) that I could give weapons and armor to so that I could display them for my personal enjoyment, but that's it.

I agree with everything but the multiplayer part

Pretty much those. Since I always roleplay that wasteland wanderer character, and since that is pretty much what Fallout is, I never settle down with a room or a house. Sure, I'd like something like a "ownable" hideout, like a little shack on some cliff with a view over a valley, a good sniper location you know. But designing its interior, I mean, it's just a temporary place you sleep at, store stuff and wait out a storm. It's not like your "Environment motive"-bar in The Sims needs to be filled or whatever.

This. Especially the part I highlighted.

Hah! You guys are a bunch of spoilsports.
I like building my wasteland museums.
Not into the multiplayer thing, but if better decoration options were available I'd enjoy it. Not a huge priority, though.

I really, really hope we will get less cluttered menus, though. Quest items... Grrrr.
