Long story short, I lost the vault 13 flask.

I have just arrived in vault city, met some brahmin dealer ( the one that Vic tells you to talk to I think) he wants to see the flask.

Will losing the flask, break the main quest? I'm bummed, I really don't want to start over.

I doubt there is any way you can break the main quest. Talk to Lynette in Vault City, she has better info about Vault 13 than the brahmin dealer. Though she wants something from you in exchange of the information.

No, losing the flask doesnt break the quest.

All the Brahmin dealer does is tell you about half a dozen locations you can learn about from many others.

Go to Lynette dressed in the Vault 13 suit
