After killing Louis Salvatore stealthily, I go back to Big Mordino and he pays me but doesn't offer to make me a made man. If i try to go near him he starts shooting me. Is this supposed to happen or am i doing something wrong?

Is your game fully patched?

I think if Mordino doesnt like you very much he may not offer you made man status, even if you've done all his jobs. Though i may be wrong.

I just downloaded it from GOG so im not sure if it patched or not. I would think mordino liked me since i was respectful in doing all my jobs

Are you a made man of any of the other families? This may be why you can trigger the completed mission dialogue with Big Jesus, but if you come too close he'll start shooting.

If you wear Power Armour after becoming a made man the opposing families wont recognise you, except if you try and talk to them.

Also, if your intelligence is 4 or lower you will not be able to become a made man.

Not sure if any of these apply to your game.

I think it has to do something with your stats. Have you been respectful in dialogue with Mordino? If so, how many points do you have in Charisma? If it's low, it might be that. If it isn't that, maybe it has something to do with your karma-rating being too positive. That's the only possibilities I can come up with. It isn't a bug I think, I've had this problem before as well.

Becoming a made man with Mordino and Salvatore is not just a case of doing the quests - if you are disrespectful, they'll pay you off and tell you to get out without offering made man status.

There's still Bishop, He'll give you access. The Bishop track is quite tricky though

Or you could do the wright track instead - this wont give you access to the special stock, but it gives you somthing much much better -

You don't need to be in league with Family Wright in order to however.

Yeah, it would have helped if you mentioned that in the beginning. Big Jesus doesn't take any crap

You can get big guns elsewhere. NCR's a good bet, you'll be going there soon enough if you're trying to get in league with Bishop. Which is convenient

You don't need to become a made man of the Wright Family afterward. Once you've got the location marked you can do what you like. I usually work for all the families, I never consider myself 'in league' with any of them unless I become a made man respectively. In this sense you can . This might be where we've misunderstood eachother.

You can also "resign" as a made man - Just start shooting!
