So , me and some other people have been having this problem where when we launch fallout , no matter if its windowed or fullscreen it sits on the taskbar , we cant click or alt + tab /enter etc. into it. The most we can do is hover over fallout on the taskbar and the game runs in the background but we cant see it.

To ensure its not a hardware problem here are my specs:

i7-5930k

GTX 970 G1 Gaming SLI (yes i know sli doesnt work yet)

32gb CorsairDP 3200 MHz Ram

And i am running Windows 8.1 64-bit.

Have you tried switching to it in task manager? I remember having some issues with Fallout 3 and Fallout NV going to taskbar, and switching to them in task manager sometimes fixed it.

still doesn't work , i remember having this problem in fo3 but it wasn't as bad i could just alt+tab back in.
