Fallout Mod Detectives #2

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2009 8:59 pm

Is there a mod that makes the guns from the various DLC available in the Wasteland (in shops, on various individuals)? I own 'em all, but it would be really nice to occasionally come across whatever it is I need to repair whatever gun I'm using. So far, the only time I've seen DLC affect the Wasteland items-wise, was Point Look, which makes it so a few of the people in the Wasteland sell Punga Fruit, which is nice, I guess. I'm more interested in like... the guns.

Are there any really good quest and/or building mods I should download? I'm kinda interested in going to new places and taking new quests, as I seem to have been just about everywhere Bethesda has provided.

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/modules/members/index.php?id=137055 made some nice one, I already played 2 out of 4 of his mod and had a good time with it. But it's more of a puzzle solving type quest.

Here's my problem: I'm looking for a night vision mod, but there's one small catch; it can't have any motion blur when you turn your head. While I now that TUPAM has one, I don't always have a headgear from it on hand. While I won't likely have a headgear for night vision at all times, it'd still be nice to have one that I know has no motion blur. It makes me dizzy.
Also is annoying when you're looking through a scope and have to make a small adjustment to see where a guy is going. Which I have to do often with my computer, AI processes faster then I can move my mouse to adjust where I'm aiming.

Remove the motion blur from the ImageSpace Modifier with GECK. It's surprisingly easy.

Hi there...
Was wondering if any of you could help.....

Seem to remember a mod that allowed one to salvage parts from cars after learning the skill/perk in Rivet City..(I know there is another car salvage mod out there which is decent but..prefer the immersion and reasoning of having to go to a place and actually learn how to do it..)
So if anyone can help in tracking this down it's appreciated(May have been a component of a compilation mod.can't remember exactly)..

Thanks in advance

Hello,

I remember that I was going to download two mods before; one made Fallout really really green and nice to live in, and the other made the weather mcuh more pleasant and added things such as rain. I can't remember either of their names, and I lost them from my bookmarks. Any ideas?

Thanks.

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2672 It mentions another mod, Enhanced Weather, which also might be what you're looking for.

Thanks for that! 2/3 down :D Actually Fellout was one of the mods I was going to download, as was Enhanced Weather. There was one more that made the Wasteland Lush with plants. That's the main one I've been looking for

EDIT: I found it; it was http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2456 :D

But there are quite a few other 'greener' mods that look really good.

EDIT: Oh too late, you found one. Greenworld looks good.

I am searching for a certain article of clothing. If anyone is familiar with "American McGee's Alice", I would absolutely love to get my hands on the dress that Alice wears, all with the bloody apron and knee (I believe, or any variation thereof)-high boots. If not, then http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/62/American_McGee_Alice_box.gif image may help. I eagerly await the day I can let loose this horror upon the wasteland...

Thanks in advance.

I think there was a wasteland environment change mod, similiar to Greenerworld except it stuck with the grey/brown theme. I think it also had lots of dead trees added in. Does anyone know what it was called?

You're posting repeatedly. You also hijacked that other thread, so the posts were deleted. Read the forum rules. If you're too lazy to read another thread, there is no way you'll be able to have the attention span to learn how to create custom armor. Let alone get it into the game. You would have to create the model in a 3D program (which isn't easy). Then you would have to go through the trouble of creating the textures/texture map (still isn't easy). Then you would have to rig the armor to the Fallout 3 body and skeleton (this isn't remotely easy). Then you would have to get it in game. Which is easier. Would probably take you a little over a year to learn + create. Hell, they're might be more to it then that. That's really all I know about the process.

okay, i am sorry for spammin, and thanks for tryin ta help, its just that i have never even played a dlc

Ok, about this, I'm not sure whether there's any mod that allows you to go prone and makes it active in-game . i.e moving forward or shooting
But I do know that one of the mod poses suggested in this http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1009937&st=0&start=0 (look at the 1st post) allows you to go prone for some screenshots to be taken

I had a mod called something like "S-Pads" that had a few different shoulder pads from different armors as standalone clothing items. I cant seem to find this mod anymore. Does anyone know what happened to it?

Is there a mod that adds a nice house to paradise falls?

While playing an Evil character, I find Paradise falls to be my home area-- The people there are very nice to you when you're very evil.

ps, i saw 2 house mods in Nexus, but it didn't seem like they were given much attention. It's a shame Paradise Falls doesn't get so much attention >.<
