Anybody know of some good mods that deal with Big Guns? There is a great lack of Big Guns in the game.

Uhmm anyone by chance know a mod that makes more buildings accessible? Like just ran buildings out in the wastes that are locked, I'd love to go into some of them so long as they don't look exactly the same.

There's also http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5463 which looked highly promising but seems to have been abandoned. :(

1. Is there a FOV mod? I'm currently changing the ini based on http://www.tweakguides.com/Fallout3_8.html tip to get FOV 90, which works fine generally but I get slight issues when zooming in and using the Sniper scope. If there isn't - are there any ini settings for this?

2. Is there a DogMeat Whistle mod other than http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2550? I'll try it out but ideally I'd like DogMeat to run to the PC rather than spawn there when using it. Basically, I sometimes station him because of danger and it would be both helpful and cool to be able to whistle him in.

Not entirely sure if this causes him to insta-appear or not. The description says "comes running". http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5311

Forget my last one, I found a mod the other day, but I lost the name. It was a whole new place, like a new island. I don't remember much, but I saw a video with the mod, that had mini brahmin, a 10mm rifle and other stuff like that. Its hard to explain but if anyone has any ideas

Looking for a mod that makes VATS headshots more difficult. Ideally something standalone, or at least part of a smaller mod set that I could strip the effect out of easily (I want to say I've seen it listed on a major overhaul before)

I don't know. In theory it's possible, but the weather would also be inside your house. It would snow in your bed, things like that.

Only if the enhanced weather mod is used, i think vanilla fallout 3 doesnt have rain or snow

You're right. But it does have other weather. Leaces kicking up would be in the house, raiders could spawn in the house, things like that.

It could be made, it's just not practical.

Search the Barge on the Nexus. If you aren't using Enhanced Weather (or if you're using it and not using radioactive rain/snow), it should be fine. It's clever in that it's a boat, so raiders won't spawn on it. You'll still have to deal with a few mirelurks and some raiders on an adjacent hill, but that's part of the fun. The reason I stopped using it was because it wasn't follower friendly in the slightest (they would just get stuck in the water) and Talon Company Mercs would just get trapped in the water (though it was fun shooting them like sitting ducks).

If you don't mind those two little problems, go for it. It's not a cheat house, it's pretty realistic. I would actually recommend putting some raider spawns around it because it has these cool little windows that open up so you can shoot through them. Plenty of storage and a workbench.

do I just type that in the console?
Also another FWE question is tere a way to set the water radiation back to normal? If not I can live with it but I miss my swimming aorund without spamming radaway.

Thanks :) I just found my first big gun. That mod adds a load of shotguns though. And pistols. The only shotgun I use is the Remington 1187. :)
