Looking for:

1. "House" mods that add a small camp to Springfield or around Megaton. Like a start out home with a mattress, a fire but not much more. Trying out http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2115 at the moment and it's quite nice. Just wondering if there are any recommended alternatives?

2. Armor/clothing mods that are a bit like the Raider sets, i.e. trashy and mish-mashy (is that a word?), a bit like Road Warrior costumes.

I'm drowning in bottlecaps, are there any store mods that sell expensive and overpowered items? (I have Ling's Finer Things mod, but thats mostly ridiculous bikini armors).

Also, is there a mod that includes more military-like clothing, uniforms and such?

I've been looking for a mod that includes your radiation, karma, and level in the on-screen HUD.

Actually, yes. One I just downloaded the other day. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11063. Though it's not for everyone, I suppose. Not male characters, anyway. (Edit: Oh, skimpy bikini armor...there's that. Oops. Maybe not what you're after.)
I had to cheat to buy the stuff as I didn't have that much. It was well over 200,000 caps for one of everything in the vendor's inventory. Then again, I was only just out of the Vault :laugh:
Most of the stuff is a mixture of other mods (the list is in the description), I think the only different things are the weapons and headgear.

There's also http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4616. There are some high priced things in there, especially when you have to have one of everything, in each color.

I actually have that too, already :blush: Apparently it is the closest to what i'm looking for, there doesn't seem to be as much shop mods for Fallout 3 as there is for Oblivion. I'll check that Kikai's equipment thing, maybe there's something to waste caps on

Or maybe i'll mod Bottlecap mine schematic to take 100 caps, would justify it's explosive power

Searching around I thought it might be http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4356, but it seems to be different. I've gone through just about everything ("camo", "stealth" etc.) on Nexus w/o luck.

Edit: No it's not, it speaks of chinese commando suit, not the stealth suit :blush: Still if you're looking for other camourflaged armors, that could be something to look at.

I'm sure sure if a mod was created for this, but I have a vague memory of seeing one somewhere a year ago.

Put simply, it stops that screen scrolling/bouncing/rotating effect when you first bring up the pipboy.
Alternatively, if someone knows what settings need to be changed to stop this effect.


I finally remembered and it's not a mod, rather some tweaks to "fallout.ini". More a case of serendipity as I was changing something else and remembered the pipboy tweaks.

how about any good aiming-shooting-VATS-realism mods that effect MMM, FOOK2, WMK and vanilla weapons?

well vats just looks at the weapon stats so anything added by other mods will work with any vats mod like Vats MCE . be specific of what you want vats to do?

Are there any mods that add an equip-able camera to the wastes? Sort of like the one the War Correspondent in Operation Anchorage. I would prefer if when un-holstered you held it in front of your chest, but when you zoomed in, you put it up to your eye. And, when you fired, it made a flash. Purely for aesthetic purposes, not real pictures. That would be nice for my reporter character.

ahhh i see, i did not know that. Shooter by Pelinor is ideal but i cant get to it because of nexus site issues and i don't think he's updated it to work with WMK or FOOK2 1.1. i'm looking for something similar that effect more mods. basicly just looking for something more realilstic in regards to weapons fire.

Is there a mod that allows for the removal of non-vital limbs without killing the target? What I mean is that I would be able to shoot a raider's arm off instead of just crippling it. The raider would still be alive and able to fight, but will have some penalties.
