Fallout Mod Detectives No.7

Hi, has any mod been done like No Chameleon-Refraction for Oblivion? So the stealth boy spell makes you see through partially instead of completely invisible?

Are there any re-texture mods for all the boxed/canned food items in game, and preferably at a higher resolution?

They all change the names of the items rather than just make them higher resolution though.

Is there a mod that adds a mattress/tent/whatever, with risks? By this I mean... if you sleep on the mattress, there's a risk that you'll wake up to an encounter or something. I've found mattress mods, but I feel they break my Primary Needs mod if there are no risks involved.

Need some help folks! I had a mod a while back that rebalanced melee and ranged weapons across spawns so that it was more likely for any given spawn to have melee weapons, since guns should be scarce in the wastes.

I cant remember the name of the mod, and I desperately want to get it back :)

Anyone?

If its not the same one, I would recommend giving this a shot in any case.

Looking for a mod that removes the lock pick and computer 'mini games'. Look, if I have the skill to use the mini game, I ought to be able to just pop it open without having to play the mini game. Currently using action boy hacking but I want to skip these games completely.

How 'bout this? http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9801

Just be careful when opening locked things; there seems to be a bug that causes all friendlies that see you to go hostile if you pick or hack, regardless of ownership. Zumbs hasn't been around for a while, so this hasn't been fixed.

Regardless, I still use this mod, because it's awesome.

Not quite what I am looking for. Basically you go to open a lock in your skill range and it unlocks. Open a computer in your skill range and it brings up the options on the computer.

I know there's a mod that shows the crosshair as a single pixel.

But which one was it again...?

Oh, one more. Another post might be best, to make things clearer.

Anything that does the same thing as MTAEVWD (for Oblivion) ? Or a list of ini tweaks to achieve the same effect? I know some of the ini values to alter, but probably not all, and even then, I'm not sure exactly what numbers should go where. Hence, either a mod or a handy list would be very much appreciated.

Fallout is supposed to already have that built in, I suppose you could tweak the .ini but I don;t know much about that.

EDIT: Also something that makes slaves tougher, so that they can actually make it to paradise falls.

You could try clipboard hacking. In some ways it is similar to action boy hacking, but at least you have to find a couple of pencils and a clipboard for the "ciphering of the password " effect to occur, (limits choices to 4 words ) and there is a chance the pencil will "break" and the clipboard will "run out of paper" (removing them from your inventory so they are not available for the next terminal encountered) requiring you to keep an eye out for those things when pilfering.

As far as I know, the only decent makeshift weapon(s) available on the Nexus are the Junk Weapon Schematics. I really find it frustrating that the only weapons available are friggin' mint condition 21st century tactical military weapons. What I'm talking about would be things like the schematic weapons available in vanilla, only simpler, and that would be able to believably use normal weapons. That, or I'll try for the 100th time to get my blender models into the game, because it seems pretty much impossible. I'm not asking anyone to make any, as a modder, I know better, just, if there's anything good out there let me know. Thanks.

I'm looking for a mod that respawns swapfolk in PO. I've went thru the main quest but now the place seems rather boring.

Doubt it, but is there any thing to add scars or unique features to my character face's? I need a ugly gash across my characters jaw, or something to set him apart, or give him a story to tell about the time he was drunk and picked a fight with Gob or ran into a deathclaw in the wasteland

Is there a mod that makes the withdraw symptoms happen later on, like in the previous Fallouts rather than just after the positive effects wear off? If you were addicted in 1&2 you didn't get the symptoms until after x days of not taking them.

What 8mm ammo? Enclave have energy weapons mainly. Are you using a mod that replaces their weapons?

Is there a "Bag of Holding" type mod out there? I know theres got to be somewhere. There was one for Oblivion.

If you don't know what I mean by that, I mean an inventory item that when activated opens storage to put things in. That way I can just throw my stuff in there when I'm over encumbered.

I just saw something like that earlier. I'm on my iPod so I can't get you a link, but it was called the "vault tec inter dimensional safe" or something like that. Just search "safe" on the nexus, it's one of the most downloaded for that keyword.
