Fallout Mod Detectives #9

When I first got Fallout 3 one of the first mods I used was a skin tone/texture replacer. It wasn't a body mod, just a set of textures that (IIRC) replaced the slider tones/wrinkles to make the skin look more realistic (e.g. less "blotchy", no odd green tones, detailed wrinkles/blemishes). It worked for both males and females. I can't seem to find it on Nexus; all results are for body replacers or new hairstyles.

I'm looking for a cool jacket mod that would add a long matrix-style black leathercoat into the game. I couldn't find this kind of mod and I hope you guys know better.

Also, is there an option to add the Merc Troublemaker outfits bulletbelts in any cloth you want? That would be very cool mod. Thanks already guys.

//Also, is there a mod for rebuilting super-duper mart entirely? Im'm making it as my new safeplace.

There's a female coat- http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9633 but no male version has been released that I know of.

I recall seeing a thread about a mod that added a vault on the moon or something like that. What was the name of that mod?

Can anyone tell me if there is a mod available which makes enemies react and try and find you if their pal standing right next to them gets sniped + killed.

AND

It seems that when you sneak close to either enemies or people, they can detect you - but if you shoot your gun and you are hidden, the enemies don't hear the gun shot sound and don't look around.

I guess maybe a combination of the 2 above is what I am look for to make FO3 more realistic.

Thanks

Is there a mod that enables fast travel while "over encumbered"? I see lots of fast travel mods but not this one.

I used to have a mod that allowed me to wear multiple headgear, ie recon helmet, glasses, hocky mask st the same time. extra slots on the head... does this sound familiar. I cant find it.

Is there a mod ("fix" is more like it) that prevents the game from forcing 3rd person POV after you unsuccessfully lockpick? I never play in 3rd person so it's annoying to have to keep scrolling the mousewheel to get back into 1st person after I fail to pick a lock.

I'm not aware of there being a fix, but then again I've never seen that behavior myself.

Are you sure this isn't happening because of a different mod that you are running? Not sure what would cause that, but without having ever run into that behavior in so many runs through the game, I'm at a loss of what else to think...

It's not a mod issue, to the best of my knowledge...when I played vanilla FO3 a few years ago, the same thing would happen. Failing at lockpicking would result in 3rd person POV.

Ho, everyone: I come with a fairly un-specific request. I'm looking for, for want of a better word, "skimpy" power armour. No, not like that. Lightweight, little DR, much smaller model, preferably able to wear it on top of other clothing (Hence the "skimpy" - I'd like to be able to see large amounts of clothing underneath to emphasise that this isn't a combat suit, and can't think of a better word), or alternatively, a few tips on how I could achieve a similar aim. There aren't really any ingame models that fit the style, and I've never been particularly artistic, but how feasable would it be to grab tailor maid and stitch together a few nice looking pieces in... nifskope, is it? The stats I believe I can handle (Though am unsure of how to make other clothes wearable with it), but anything artistic... has never been my forte.

@PhYoshi- Tailor Maid has power armor shoulder pads, boots and the Tesla back pack which you can wear over your regular clothing/armor, no Nifskoping required. There's an extra esp for it with no stat bonuses http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12435.

I actually hadn't considered that for some reason - alright, one question to make that work: What do I have to do to get myself "wearing" PA? As in, any mod that asks if the player has PA equipped will get a yes, if you don't have the training it won't equip, you'll get the additional noises as you walk, so on?

I seem to remember a mod that would add scars and tattoos to a male character's face; there was quite a variety of them. Any ideas?

Armor - I'm looking for some unique or reskinned armors for me to use in conjunction with RTS NW. I would like my villagers to have the protection and added stats of Enclave armor, but look different enough to tell them apart at a distance. Purchaseable Recolored Enclave armor, as long as it was in addition to the stuff the Enclave wears, would be great.

Thanks.

I seem to remember a mod that specifically brought the Dwemer armor from Morrowind to FO3. This was several years ago. I can't remember the modder nor the name. If I was able to post at the Nexus, I am sure buddah would probably remember. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi all,

I`m looking for mods that remove min lvl requirements for joining factions, especially the Regulators.
If possible no alternative start mods as I `m using ART which is not compatible with such.

Regards, Haldir

FWE has a system like it, where you can get an alternative start, you can start outside of Vault 101 and choose to be a regulator.
