Fallout 3 Mothership Zeta Glitch/Bug/Crash

Ok, This morning I was playing Fallout 3 Game Of The Year Edition, and after I finished "The Pitt" I decided to do Mother-ship Zeta, Instead of finding the G.E.C.K. Now I approached the crash land site of the Alien ship, and as Usual I get abducted. However, during the cut-scene with the three aliens, when they Put what seems to be either a needle or a probe into my character, the game just STOPS. I thought It could of been lag, so I rebooted by PS3, loaded up my save file, traveled back there, saved this time, and the same thing happened. The game stopped again. The last time, I took off all my items,and the same results happened. Help! :cryvaultboy:

When first beamed up to the Mothership, the game may freeze at the probe scene. The game won't progress, but you can pause, and an alien in the background is moving. This can be fixed by deleting the game data cache and/or reloading a save from the wasteland or restarting the console, and re-entering Mothership Zeta. However when an older save is loaded your arms glow the color of the abduction ray when in first person. Can only be fixed by restarting the console, or exiting to the main menu and reloading a save.


Since rebooting and reloading your save didn't help you, try deleting the game data cache.
