Fallout 4 needs more gigantic enemies

Post » Fri Mar 11, 2016 4:05 pm

That would appear more frequent in higher difficulties. Things like

  • a mole rat king (with a tilted crown that stays on its head for lols, even when he burrows underground)

  • radscorpion alphas

  • super radroaches

  • king and queen stingwings

  • boss bloatflies

  • giant yao guai

and of course more behemoths and mirelurk queens, which are already a delight to fight.

Haha. Yao guai can be pretty big if you get those legendary ones.

Bigger creatures are always welcome, but aren`t the bigger variance of already existing enemy one of first thing modders work on with the tool kit? lol

FNV had one gigantic bloatfly that was one of toughest enemy,

and I would love to see bigger rad scorpion and stingwing along with some quests related to them.

like we used to have giant ant quests in the past.

I find the giant enemies to be the easiest to kill. Even with out jet or other chems you can juke them by taking cover. And they are such large targets that they are easier to hit

Love to fight a giant winged bug, or bird of some sort...or watch it take on a vertibird! (which would end in 5 seconds).

Every since my discovery and advent of explosive ammo and munitions and weapons that add explosive damage, I find the big guys to not be so much a challenge anymore.

Cait: "Oi, giant [censored]-off Deathclaw!"

I got this.... -hoses Deathclaw in the kneecaps with the Spray and Pray, watches as the Deathclaw sits the [censored] down-

Then it's just a matter of decided how to finish him off.

Same thing with Mirelurk queens. Cripple the legs, and I just stand there going "I break you neck, make you humble."

This post idea is on my list of steering FO4 onto the track of greatness! Unique experiences and unique big bosses are a treat. Swan was fun but dead within a couple minutes. In 300+ hours I have yet to die from a FO4 Behemoth. Can't say the same about FO3 Behemoth's but that's a whole other issue of making Behemoth's more deadly instead of exclusively stupid rock throwing targets. While were at it, take a page from FNV and make Stingwings FEAR-able like Cazadores. Don't fear Stingwings because they are sluggish comparably. Could not say the same about Cazadores from FNV, feared and respected them. :nope:

No one's mentioned a Behemoth sized robot yet? That could be a real possibility with Automatron... and a wonderful thing if it came true.

If that robot on the art promo isn't the size of a behemoth I'm gonna be mad.

Fallout 4 absolutely needs deeper and more interesting quests, more charismatic npcs, visible holstered weapons.

Speaking of gigantic enemies, how do Super Mutant Behemoths get into Castle when I have blocked all gaps in the walls and there are two human-sized entrances?

Lol, my thoughts exactly. "Bring it!" In my psycho trio grunt voice.

One sec Mr, Deathclaw, the mini nuke loader in my Fatman is jammed. Mind if I go into workshop mode real quick and craft some mods? Marcy Long will keep you company. Thanks!

That's why they need more brutal and punishing attacks like 3x damage, acid that makes short work of power armor, more ground attacks, things to really keep us on our toes.

I agree bigger enemies should be a problem. If anything should be bullet sponges, it should be them. They should all be as tough as nails to kill and a real pain in the ass regardless of what weapon or you level you got.

Lol, yeah I hated those [censored] Cazadores. Though you're right, that annoyance made me respect them and think twice whenever I encountered them.

I'm hoping there are a few behemoth robots like some colossal sentries. Nothing like a good challenge.

Have you felt let down with, I guess you would say the danger, paranoia (or lack of) comparison between stingwings and cazadores, the stalkingly fearful deatclaws of FO3 and NV compared to the deathclaws of fo4 which seem to only be dangerous if you are really close to them. Same with YaoGuai. I received the death music (which i miss) so much more from FO3 than I ever have from FO4, mainly because unless engaged, I don't feel threatened.
