» Tue May 04, 2010 1:17 pm I very much injoyed the red ryder BB gun in the garage in fallout 1, and was over the moon to find the Firelance drop from the sky in fallout 3 (and on a side note am hoping for Verchitin armour in the mothership zeta expansion), these glimpses into the world of wasteland have always kept me entertained and were the greatest easter eggs in fallout, and I will always be under the belife that Fallout tatics should have emulated wasteland and made your squad NCR rangers, this would have made the story work better and not have distroyed the image of the BOS as racist zealots.
I hope that Fallout Vagas includes the Red ryderair rifle (with the compass in the stock) as well as returning to the original Fallouts form, returning gamberling tag and large interesting towns like vault city, NCR, new reno and the HUB, I loved Fallout 3 but missed the communities. (eg A boat, a hotel, a cramped crater, a fort) infact my favorite location was paradise falls, which was sadly under used.
I am hoping that new vaga will be alot like Lovely Vagas, with its history of not being hit during the war (house was betting against a missle landing), complete with cults similar to those in the first two fallout games, "fat freak" freddy would be a welcome addition as well.
However as much as Id like to see fallout new vagas be a mix off all that made wastelands fallout and fallout 3 great I have recently read that Wastlend 2 may be in the works, which leaves me wondering where the fallout license ends and the wasteland license starts? they are very similar, share weapons, and themes? could there be yet another court case in the future, if so as always it will be the fans that loose out....
