I complained about them but perhaps I was more blatantly half assed about it. Here's to hoping the damage counters will also have an in game checking i.e. The Orange Box's TF2 ones. Say for one of the damages I have 6,236/10,000 and others could be greater or lower. No idea but in game rewards and items alot of the times are more worth it compared to a numbered achievement system. As long as these achievements have some great Vault Boy icons, that's fine by me.
Sorry J.E. Sawyer for giving you a difficult time.
Would've been nice for also getting random holotapes achievement but instead I'd rather have a random side-quest where an NPC is almost "in-charge" of the history of the area. Might even mean he or she could be in a deep bunker. Sort of the cameras, teddy bears and acquiring sort of ongoing things. Get some caps and more information. Of course said NPC just puts it in a slot at a large computer bank, copies the information on his database and gives you the holotapes back. Game could even have small checkboxes next to the holotapes to see if you've shared them.
That being typed out, I do honestly hope that with particular items, you give said items to an NPC for rewards and see their particular project grow gradually. Meaning this person needs x amount of this and y amount of that. Sort of they have their own schematics for things they're building.
Off topic and just brainstorming.
