Really wish they could release a trophy list. Its always Xbox this, xbox that.

Are those snow-globes supposed to be like bobble-heads?

I thought there would of been an achievement for completing a non-violant playthrough.

I completely forgot about the prospect of Avatar Awards for the Xbox360, I wonder if they'll have any? If they don't its fine by me it'd just be cool to have some cool Fallout-esque stuff to wear on my Avatar on LIVE. (Hopefully some Enclave Armor?) :tops:

EDIT: PS3 has Home so that can get stuff as well.

Then you got the PC users who generally don't give a crap about achievement or trophies.

The Trophies will be exactly the same, with the only differences being the values that they count for and the fact that PS3 gets an extra trophy with the platinum.

Anyone else feel sorry for Sawyer by about halfway through the last achievements thread?

I can only assume he's getting paid to try and reason with the best and brightest of the forums *cough cough*

:shifty:

For instance, I want to know why I can't get an achievement for having [censored]-myself 10,000 times?! Whuh-thuh-fuh Josh?!
You developers are just lazy and unimaginative!

Also, I don't read the rest of the thread, so don't bother explaining about the 50-limit again.

I felt sorry for him to. The whole idea of the arguement was that some people just didn't like it and I recall some references as to why it wasn't more like Bioshock's random acheivements in those complaints.

....it seemed ridiculous.

I thought it seemed like people were being pretty hostile about it too. And for such an insignificant part of the game.

The trophy list is the exact same as the Xbox 360 list. Or do you mean you wish to know which trophies are bronze, silver, gold, etc?

And yes, the snow-globes are supposed to be like bobble-heads.

What's insignificant to some are important to others.

People were hostile?
I remember most people praised it, some said meh and a fair few complained about them, me included.

I complained about them but perhaps I was more blatantly half assed about it. Here's to hoping the damage counters will also have an in game checking i.e. The Orange Box's TF2 ones. Say for one of the damages I have 6,236/10,000 and others could be greater or lower. No idea but in game rewards and items alot of the times are more worth it compared to a numbered achievement system. As long as these achievements have some great Vault Boy icons, that's fine by me.
Sorry J.E. Sawyer for giving you a difficult time.
Would've been nice for also getting random holotapes achievement but instead I'd rather have a random side-quest where an NPC is almost "in-charge" of the history of the area. Might even mean he or she could be in a deep bunker. Sort of the cameras, teddy bears and acquiring sort of ongoing things. Get some caps and more information. Of course said NPC just puts it in a slot at a large computer bank, copies the information on his database and gives you the holotapes back. Game could even have small checkboxes next to the holotapes to see if you've shared them.
That being typed out, I do honestly hope that with particular items, you give said items to an NPC for rewards and see their particular project grow gradually. Meaning this person needs x amount of this and y amount of that. Sort of they have their own schematics for things they're building.
Off topic and just brainstorming.

the trophy list is disgusting in my opinion. it lacks the uniqueness and quantity that i want and expect.

PS: Sawyer and the guys... if you have forgot about ps3 home bonuses again and added live bonuses ill be pissed. meh i didnt expect a reply.

*crazy old man voice*

In my day, we didn't need some arbitrary stamp of approval for what we accomplished in our games!

You damn kids and yer music! Get off my lawn!

*gestures angrily with cane*

Definitely put me down for don't-give-a-[expletive] when it comes to achievements.

Sell 10,000 caps worth of goods.. Sure hope the vendors have more money than in F3. I think I made most my money by just scavenging around.
... I hated that vendors money would disappear over time..Yet their inventory wouldn't get any better. I'd give moira all that dough for housewares and then when I finally get to points where I can sell her some good gear she'd be back down to 700 bucks. So you'd sell her one item worth more than 700 bucks, take some stimpacks or ammo in trade and then have to wait another few weeks for her to have any money again.
