Gunnar - Outside Jacobstown
Gunnar followed Pinky's gaze up into the top of the treeline. "Son of a [censored]," Gunnar muttered, "yeah, I guess so." Two bloody forms were hanging from a particularly sturdy limb, upside down; only their size made them recognizable as the missing nightkin. Their skin was flayed almost completely off of their bodies. "Holy [censored]," Gunnar exclaimed, "what sort of commie bastard could do this to them?" The ex-Ranger leaned his Vindicator up against the tree, and slid his ammo box off of his back. "I'll climb up there and cut them down. We'll have to bury them before something catches the scent."
Gunnar jumped up off of the ground and caught a low-hanging branch. "I don't have a [censored] clue as to what could've killed them, Pinky. Sure, a deathclaw or group of cazadores probably could have, but they wouldn't have been able to tie them up," Gunnar explained, "and I doubt that any group of Raiders would be smart enough to do so, either." As Gunnar neared the top of the tree, the two nightkin's injuries became much more clear. "Looks like plasma burns," Gunnar shouted down to Pinky, "what the hell is going on here?"
The ex-Ranger undid the knots that affixed Ben and Bill to the tree branch, and the two fell to the forest floor with a loud thump. Gunnar followed them much more slowly, and landed next to Pinky with a similar, though much more quiet, thump. "Alright, what do you want to do? Whatever did this could still be out here, and I don't fancy fighting the commie bastard with just the two of us here."
