Im not sure, but I think you can go with YesMan at any time. I say this because I would assume there is a back-up plan for if you decide to kill house just before the final mission.

Yes you can, the only problem ive had with it is after disableing House and hooking up Yes Man, my camera becomes permanently stuck in first person. Causing me to have to load to a previously saved game, it would be interesting to know if this happens to anyone else. Just make sre you get a safe save before shutting down mr house.

I would guess at the point where House asks you for the chip is the moment when you have to keep it in order to proceed with the Yes Man ending, right?

I'm nearing the end of my first playthrough and I've been progressing in Caesar's quest line and I'm leaning toward double crossing him in the same way (going to Yes Man to take over New Vegas myself, instead of as Caesar's follower).

I previously got the Boomers and others to agree to help me in the final battle and I told Yes Man that the boomers will be helping me; however, during some dialogue with Caesar it seems that he thinks the boomers will help him now. The same happened with the White Gloves society.

Does this mean that even if I kill caesar and join Yes Man at the Lucky 38, that the factions I previously convinced to help me will be helping the Legion instead?

BTW, using a lot of C-4 and a stealth boy is kind of a fun way to kill Caesar - unfortunately his body ends up way at the other end of the fort, so I didn't get a chance to loot him before I got killed. when the game reloaded, I played nice and did not try to attack him again (so far).

I have that bug happen randomly, but I can usually get the game working right again without having to reload to an older save.

Usually I just have to restart the game or reboot. Usually more than once.

Check and see if your mouse scroll turns auto when this happens. That is what I noticed.

I go to scroll down to a save and it starts auto scrolling all the way down. This usually happens to me randomly, and when it happens my character is stuck in 3rd person.
