My Fallout New Vegas Experience

So far this game has been fantastic. I've enjoyed every hour I've played thus far. My only problem I am having is that I need a 75 science skill to do some quests. I need it for helios 1 and for black mountain. I have 2 quests I can't finish until I level up and raise this skill. Thats a bummer because I wasn't going for that build again. Anyway I'd like to say my Fallout runs perfectly on my PS3, I've played for 4 hours straight and no freeze. My friend froze after 2 hours. We both started the playing the exact same time. My Ps3 is original 60 GB launch model and his is the pathetic 40 GB. My hypothesis here is that the older and better PS3s run the game better. I've seen 4 examples of this freeze occur on a 40 GB and a slim. My PS3 60 GB has not frozen yet and I've played the game for 4 hours straight the first day. The second 7 hours, and the 3rd day I clocked 12 hours. During these sessions I've noticed my friends who were playing it on newer PS3s were getting freeze ups. I do how ever experience a minor frame rate drop that usually only lasts for one second. Other than that it runs better than my patched Fallout 3 with all DLC packs.

Well I use an Xbox360 (Slim) and the only problem I've had is enemies in the ground. That's it! I've really enjoyed it, I currently have like 20 active quests. Should finish a few... :toughninja:

I think since the 360 slim's hardware is better than the original and elite then there is less problems. PS3s are downgraded from the original, uses smaller chipsets so thats why many people are having issues. I could be wrong, the console versions are both really unstable. LOL sorry for posting in the wrong section.
