From what I've heard you can choose to use the Irons or you can use the aiming from FO3, Whatever suits your liking. :tops:

Not a big shooter fan, I like seeing the view in front of me without it being obstructed by half the gun and sights. I use VATS mostly, only use real time shooting for the first suprise shot, or the last killer blow. It kind of seems like they added it just to placate the shooter fans that whined because it wasnt a COD or HALO.

I just noticed something. In VATS you can see shooting in 3rd person zoom doesn't have anymore head tilt, and that's not shooting from the hip that's for sure. Cause for celebration! :celebration:

The Cowboy Repeater is normally a pretty quick-firing weapon, but that one also has a mod that increases its rate of fire.

I'm assuming that mod is something you pick up later on then since it makes the repeater look sort of overpowered for that level. :P

That is what I was thinking, That was a lot of hate & discontent going down range even for a Cowboy Repeater. :tops:

Can't wait to get that mod for my Repeaters, By the way Josh can you use that mod on any Repeater type weapon? :)

A Cowboy Repeater.

Thanks. It reminded me of the Lincolns Repeater (which was my favorite gun in FO3) except I like this one more. I surely look forward to using it.

I wonder if it was one of the mods shown in earlier previews that made the ROF higher or if there are more available than previously shown. If not, do you think it was the Maple Stock or the Brass Plating that did it? Personally I think the gun looks kind of weird because of the iron sights. Hopefully the sights on the Trail Carbine (the .44 repeater) will be more like the ones on Lincoln's Repeater.

The maple stock helps reduce recoil, allowing for more accurate shots. I would assume it's the brass plating, since that seems like it'd help allow the lever to "rooster" more efficiently.

That sounds about right. I'm definitely looking forward to modding up my favorite weapons.

Sweet! I knew just by hearing the name on The Vault that it sounded like a BA weapon. Now I know it looks and sounds BA too! (better then the Lincoln's Repeater if you ask me)

This game is looking like a lot of love went into it and I thank you. I well definitely be screaming and crying like some crazed fan girl when I get my CE at Game stop on the 19th. :fallout:

That would explain the strangely high RoF, thanks for clarifying for us why.

The thought of walking up to Dinky, living in Lucky 38, discovering places like Primm, using C4, rocking to Frank Sinatra and some singing cowboys, etc. Excites me to no end. It drives me crazy just to think about it. 45 days to go. :fallout:
