Woah, why is Victor made of rubber? Could you tone down death physics Obsidian? That's just ridiculous.

Sweet. Thanks for posting a gameplay vid :tops: The iron sights on that gun looked pretty weird. It was also kind of strange having such a high ROF. I guess we'll see exactly how good the game turns out in 45 more days.

Damn for a lever action it shot like semi-auto, then again all the skills are probably really high for a demo.

I can't even begin to tell you how many "this could've been a Fallout 3 expansion" comments I've seen and had to explain why this couldn't be an add-on, but had to be an entirely new game.

No, not really. But it's one of those things that when you do see it, you just can't help yourself even though you know what's coming.

Why shoot Victor? :(

Also I see Vic's got a grenade launcher for an arm that seems handy(sort of).

Also what weapon, was that the lever action modded or something. I hope guns pack more of a kick in the actual game, I remember in a video how many shots it takes for the trail carbine to kill someone, hopefully at 100 Guns skill we can do much better than that.

On the other video with the same kid shooting a GMG it seems that when we break limbs in new vegas the text LMB will be right above the health bar to always remind you that you have a broken limb until you've healed it.

Now I know it was a couple of days ago since I played fallout 3 but this is a new feature right?

Yeah. In FO3 you just got a little icon of Pip Boy with the damaged area with broken lines/dashes that went away after a couple of seconds.

My personal opinions from this video.

A. I loved that pick up truck, maybe this means we'll get to see a few more skeletons of cars in the Mojave.

B. Perhaps it's me, but the reload time was rediculously fast.

C. I liked how the landscape looks similiar yet unique from Fallout 3.

Those robots are the equivalent of the sentry bots in FO3, but tougher. And much faster rate of missile-fire, judging by the trailer.

Also, if you're talking about the video I'm thinking of, the trail carbine's ineffectiveness was showing the difference that DT makes--the gun was using shot instead of slugs, and the red shield was showing, indicating that the individual damage from each pellet was lower than the DT. I was actually surprised at how much damage it was doing despite the DT issue (20% of base damage regardless of DT).

IGN just posted this video, plus another one highlighting the grenade machine gun on their site.

The reload time seemed fine to me (I'm talking about loading each bullet in), but the gun was firing ridiculously fast.

I think it may have been sped up due to the time limit. But that may just be how the gun operates at higher levels. It should be toned down a bit if that's the case.

I also noticed that when you compare it to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkbsI16HmF0&feature=related from 2 months ago, the environment looks more sharp and light orange, which are both really good things.

Well the old Winchester could with a skilled shot, sling away 2 shots a second without missing the target. Bro said it out RPM'ed the full autos he used when he trained in the coastal artillery

theres a thing called a glitch, and as i recall, there were some framerate and glitch issues with the demos that people played. on a second note, i thought it was hilarious how he flipped XD

Oh I thought it was bizarre as well. I just meant the moments where the animation of the bullet being loaded into the barrel (before quickly being shot) seemed to be a normal speed, but the whole PING click click PING was rather weird. I know it's possible to shoot a lever action that fast, I just wouldn't expect the Courier to have that speed. O.o
