Are Fo3 and New Vegas pretty much the same when it comes to system performance requirements?

Yes. Same engine, same tech. New Vegas may be slightly higher, but if you can run Fallout 3, you can run New Vegas,

Not on a PS3 you can't.


Fallout3 works fine enough on a PS3.

Fallout: New Vegas is a horrible experience on the PS3. Would not advise.
