Perhaps the players having really big performance issues are the types that do everything on one character, play over 500 hours, every quest, every guild etc? That's not my style, including Vegas if I pick it up.
well i remember patches for Skyrim to make it run better on PS3, with bigger save files. No patch like that was ever put on for New Vegas. You will run into a lot more problems with this new vegas with big save files, longer loading times, and laggy play. Especially when you get deeper into the game. When I had it on ps3, i found i could have have two DLCs installed at once, other wise it just gets almost unplayable.
is ps3 your only option? its still worth picking up if thats the case. but i would consider another console or pc if you can.
I don't have the Ultimate Edition, however I do own the Fallout: New Vegas collectors edition with every DLC downloaded minus Couriers Stash and I cannot see why people are having issues. I've never once had a corrupted save, unplayable beyond select zones after extensive sessions (Forlorn Hope, Khan encampent and Hoover Dam. However exiting the game and reloading it fixes this problem for me.
Same with M'aiq. But he does have the ultimate edition though.
