Fallout New Vegas Question

Post » Tue May 01, 2012 5:16 pm

I am just starting to play New Vegas again and am completely frustrated with the CC. I have been searching Google for the last hour trying to figure this out. Did m ny searches and reworded so many ways with no good info.

Which way does the slider needs to be on females to have NO Mustache or Beard, all the way right or all the way left???

Wrong section.

What ? How have you got a beard as a woman ? Im pretty sure you cant do that in the game.
If your asking how to get facial hair as a woman. Mods.

I'm pretty sure that you are stuck with it as its more of a shading thing than facial hair. But if you have the game why not just experiment, I don't understand how we can help when you can visually check it.

And my post was to suggest you are in the wrong sub-forum.

I know that much, I said CAN'T do mods, not I want to do them. People on here always assume everyone is on PC and throw get mods in someones face to solve game issues.

It largely depends on the skin color of your character; you have to try and match the skin color of the affected area with the rest of her face. And in most cases, going all the way in one direction is not going to do it.

That's pretty much it there. If you slide the sliders all the way to the left, the "shading" is lessened, and depending on skin tone and other things you've set, the upper lip/chin shadowing on the females can be almost not noticeable. However, the sliders are somewhat connected, so some other sliders, as you move them around, will swing the beard/stache sliders back to the right again a bit. So there's no single easy answer on how to create a female face with the least beard/stache shadow.

But even if you get it as good as possible, it never goes away entirely, especially under certain lighting conditions of the game. Sometimes you won't notice it, sometimes you will, that sort of thing.
