Saw this coming a mile away.

I have the game on PC so I won't get it again, but on 360... maybe... maybe.

Finally! Now I definantly will buy NV again.

I can't wait to actually own DM, HH, OWB, and LR instead of just playing it at friends' houses and watching lets plays.

My roommate rejoiced since he's just been playing his Fallout 3 GotY on his PlayStation while I moved on to New Vegas and started gushing about little game-play improvements. As with Fallout 3 I'll be his living strategy guide one room down, though. :P

It would be clever marketing trick if they released the ultimate edition with huge patches that fixes virtually every bug. Would probably get us hardcoe fans who already own all the content to buy it.

If it fixes a lot bugs including game crashes, adds a few enhancements like smarter A.I., I'll shell out the $50 or $60 bucks for it.

I would shell out the $50 or $60 regardless, because I don't trust PSN to deliver me a DLC properly via purchase over Playstation Store.

50 is a bargain in comparasion to the content we are getting.

Obsidian might of stopped supporting it, but there's no reason Bethesda can't step in and try and fix it.

And then the Lord said unto thee, "Ye, doth hast forgotten the plague with which Bethesda smite ye merry players. Ye, doth hast forgotten thy yonder glitches from the days of Bethesda rule."
And then the Lord summoned a video, and all hopes of repair and criticism of Obsidian were but silence:

I have had the pleasure of experiencing this glitch, having to wait over an hour only for nothing to resolve, having the autosave reload into the glitch, and having to redo the last leg of that godawful DLC all over again.

YAY! I've been here this long, all tense and nervous, because for many reasons I cannot settle with DLCs.
I want the hard, touchable, DVD (or equivalent) thing.
Thus I rejoice, twice so.
I'll surely get one copy for me and one for the brother :D

Cheers!

Great news! February is good timing too.
It gives me 4 months to focus on Skyrim before buying the Ultimate NV edition.

Since the DLC's & patches seem included it would be Awesome-super-cool of Obsidian/Bethesda to not include Steamworks on the the disc

I have a question about this. If I already have Fallout NV for PS3 & that I already have a saved file & obtain some trophies already. And, when Fallout NV UE comes out, would I still can used my same saved file & that it just use the same trophy list instead of it making a new one?

Why I asking this because I had Fallout 3(PS3) at first, but when the GOTY came out I couldn't use my character save file from the original for some reason.I had to start over.(Also, I remembered on the original F3 there was no trophies for it & that I didn't got any dlc for it I just waited till the GOTY came out.)

And the trophy part I talking about heres a example I'm talking about:

Fallout New Vegas 25%

Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition 5%

If it does something like that it won't make sense to me.

I'm sorry asking questions of this already, I really should wait asking these kind of questions til the game comes out, I'm just curious.

Jason Bergman did say that for the PS3 it was all going to be on one disc with everything integrated. So there's a high chance it may be seen as a different game for the PS3.

The reason its on one disk for the ps3 is because it can fit on one disk. It can't be done with a 360 disk.

I've had some friends say that they wait for the ultimate ed. to be released cause it runs better. I care less cause i already own all the dlc they should, however, release a new strat guide to include all the dlc too. Course when your as good as me you don't need that either  :fallout:

Yeah I know, just saying that it's probably going to be seen as a new game.
Never questioned why.
