Is that a .223 pistol I spy near the end? The guys on The Vault wiki are gonna go nuts.

Probably going to be a "5.56mm pistol" to remove ammo redundancy. 5.56mm is probably more powerful because of higher chamber pressure anyway.

I also see a FO3 plasma pistol even closer to the end. Wonder how that will work balance-wise in relation to the http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Plasma_Pistol_%28Fallout:_New_Vegas%29.

i wish they would stop showing pictures of house as a computer.

i hope they are just doing this to build suspense and that he isn't actually a computer.
his voice didnt sound very computerized. so that could be a good sign

It's probably more of a communication device. Considering he keeps all people away from him.

ST:DS9's Odo, makes an awesome voice for Mr. House. :)

But now the real question, which of the 3 major factions should I back? Since they are all supposedly "gray", I guess I'll have to play though the game to see which ones I'm most fond, but I'll probably wind up backing Mr. House in my first play through and hopefully I can stay "friendly" with NCR...

It is not. It is distinctly shaped like the .223 pistol, while the "12.7mm pistol" is stated to be modeled after the 14mm pistol.

The 12.7 is considerably different in shape and bulk.

i am siding with the N.C.R

because although there recources are strung thin, there intentions are good. they want to bring america back to how it was before the war.

the only reason they are viewed as grey is because they are having a hard time protecting there citizens because they have gotten so big. i intend to help them so that they can become more unified and powerful

I doubt that's the only reason. NCR isn't anything close to being perfect white knights. They make deals with criminals if they have to.

So what i get is that this game forces you to play it more than once, for the several different outcomes it gives by picking other factions.. interesting.

This. Has he does any other voice-over work for games? Even from this tiny clip, he sounded awesome!

He was the chef in The Little Mermaid, and The Mechanist (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/The_Mechanist) in Avatar: The Last Airbender. Not games, but still VA work.

Another great little peek. I'm really enjoying these developer diary's. I wonder if you get a dialogue option to tease House about his monitor's vertical hold? :icecream:

Wow.. I mean I knew most of this stuff by now, but the huge change in how factions relate-to and effect one another is going to be a new experience for me in these games. I think I'm looking forward to the faction dynamics quite alot!!

Awesome diary guys, as if the anticipation could build anymore!
