Fallout 3 (not GOTY edition) but has freezing anyway.

Post » Fri May 04, 2012 1:49 am

I have the Disk for Fallout 3 , pitt & Anchorage, loaded them in my Windows 7 64 - 3.6 ghz quad processor. played fine for a few days then started freezeing after just a couple of min.

Now after reading thru some of the forum here, I see that one possible solution is to turn off the 4 barrel and just run two processors ....Here's where the help comes in. How do I do that? Can I turn it down for just the one game?, Skrim works perfectly very high graphics and never the slightest hesitation. Fallout 3 - Nevada also works great as is.

The other Possibility i have heard is the x-video thing-a-ma-bob, I have version 11, but it should be #9 for Fallout 3. Yea that one kind of looses me too, but I'm old and that's easy to do.

Anyway, If somebody could please help me with this perdictament, I would feel truly blessed. Thank You.
