So Basically i was just playing fallout 4 and then is suddenly gave up on me and i closed it manually, and i have done this once before and everything was ok.

But this time everytime i try to open it i get the launcher and if it is on fullscreen it does not respond ("Fallout4.exe is not responding"), i get no black screens or anything just a little fallout 4 logo on my toolbar and nothing happens at all but if i click it it says it stopped working.

Now if i put it to windowed mode it starts playing and works but it doesn't appear on my screen no matter if i click it ot try to alt+tab in it, i can see what is happening from the little box if i hover over the fallout logo on my toolbar but do not click it, and abviously this way it is unplayable.

Now these two things are all that happen no matter what graphics settings or such i change only factor to the behavior is wether it's on fullscreen or not. Mods have no effect to this at all either.

And note that it happened suddenly after a crash nothing getting updated in between, simple crash and after trying to restart the game this happens.

And most importantly... I HAVE 40+ HOURS IN THIS GAME so my PC can handle it!!!

I found no help or saw anyone with this specific kind of problem on the internet, it was all about black screen or crashing all the time, no, i don't get those just the ordinary "Fallout4.exe is not responding"

What OS (plus all your other computer specs and so on). Someone is going to ask you for a dxdiag, so might as well be me.

Probably have it running, it will have moved ll your Fallout files to another place (latest Win 10 patch did it).

Check if your notebook is using GeForce GTX 860M to run the game .

Even his monitor is looking at the onboard not the dedicated, or is that normal for laptops?

I'd never use a laptop for gaming, too problematic. Had a motherboard with onboard graphics once and disabled that thing in BIOS, so games would never even try to see the stupid thing.

Make sure Fallout4.exe and Fallout4Launcher.exe is in the anti-malware exceptions list.

I'd turn off realtime scanning completely while running a game.

Try running https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download to fix misc issues (eg registry messes).

Maybe something wrong with your save files? Try rename the saves folder and start the game. If it starts, one of your saves could be corrupted ...
