These are the errors that occured:
1. Clicked new game, game crashed.
2. Changed some things, got into opening cutscene, game crashed.
3. Updated with Patch, 5360 file not found.
4. Updated with US patch, "Application not found, reinstall."

These are the changes I made to make the game work:
1. Moved into folder the d3d9.dll file.
2. Limited number of cores to two with sUse line. (.ini file)
3. Deleted bMovie intro scene lines (.ini file).
4. Renamed .exe from Fallout3 to Fallout 3.
5. Ran as administrator with XP service pack 2 & 3, & as vista.
6. Checked, rechecked and pondered http://modsreloaded.com/fallout-3-crashes-fix-guide-t2455.html forum.

Still, the furthest I've managed to get into the game is the first line of dialogue James says after the "ONE YEAR LATER" text.
Can anybody help me any more?

C'Mon! The game requires a real graphics card. Intel can't make one.

The .dll changes it to a different card.
But even then...
Man, wrist-slashing time.

The .dll file cannot physically change the card. It "spoofs" the game into thinking it can run on a Intel chipset. Possibly damaging to the hardware.

That's what I meant, sorry.

Ah, well. I'll just find a computer it'll work on.
