I just got Fallout 2 and am wondering if there are any community patches or mods that significantly enhance the gameplay experience that I should be aware of. Thanks!

Anything else cool I should snag?

Not anything I know of, other then some graphics changers and such. But I've been running the game just on Killaps's patch and I haven't run into any bugs/glitches. It adds anything that can be added as well. Including a "head" for Cassidy. (Cass from New Vegas is his daughter) plus the EPA, some church I can't remember the name of, etc etc.

I got the Restoration Patch, but whenever I try and launch it in Windows 7 I get an error saying fallout appears to be running in compatibility mode. Game works fine without the patch, but won't launch with it.

Any ideas?

Nope, I'm not a good computer techie. :user: I just clicked install and it worked fine for me. (I use XP)

BTW I hear there are just a lot of general problems with old school Fallout games on Windows 7. But I wouldn't know more then that.
