Fallout 1 patches?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 12:53 am

Hey, does anyone know a link to any Fallout patches? Fallout gets an error when there are too many people on the screen. Sorry I am being vague but just in case someone reads this who hasn't gotten to where I am. I found the Fallout3 patches but I need them for the 1st game.

Thanks

Rumiel

Go to Interplay.com i got it there not long ago. Was lucky enough that my friend actually had the original copy of fallout and it works on XP.

If the Official Interplay patch doesn't solve your problems. I highly recommend the unofficial patches from TeamX. Their patches are still hosted at No Mutants Allowed.

Version 1.2 (this already includes the fixes from the official Interplay patch, plus fixes for issues that were not previously covered)

Version 1.3 (this adds fixes for issues that were not covered in Version 1.2. But you'll need to patch your game to 1.2 before patching it to 1.3):

I've been using these for years. And I think they're your best best for a bug free Fallout experience. :)

Oh quick question is it normal that the 1.3 patch doesnt have an .exe just the data folder and in game it remains version 1.2?

Yeah. You just have to overwrite your current data folder with the new one. Should be alright. Hope this makes your game more stable. Have fun.
