Fallout 4 pip-boy edition sold out

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 8:19 am

Just as the title says, the Fallout 4 pip-boy collectors edition is sold out everywhere I can find online. And yet, on e-bay there are dozens of listing for it for $250 - $300 up. Somehow that just doesn't seem right. So is Bethsda going to make any more of these for sale, or are the real fans screwed because scalpers jumped in to make a quick profit?

Well all the gamestops or on Amazon.ca in Canada don't even have them for pre order yet. So what's your saying better not be true.

Hm. If they have actually been available at all it was only for a very short time. :-(

I don't think the edition is that limited. They just dose the available quantity to heat up the hype. I mean I have never had any problem to find a Bethesda CE after release: Skyrim, FO3, Oblivion...

They will probably make more. I mean, why not? More money, right? Of course there has to be some limit otherwise it becomes nearly worthless.

Thanks for the heads-up, the pc version is sold out, but I went and got the ps4 version. I have nephews who have a ps4, so they'll get the game for xmas and I'll keep the pip-boy to use for my pc version. :disguise:

Is not wanting to drop $120 on a product I don't yet know if I'll like considered "slow on the draw" now?

Just because it's Fallout doesn't somehow make it to where it'll automatically be good. I mean, unlike some people I've never truly been disappointed in a Bethesda game, but I am cautious by nature.

I'm guessing they'll get more stock eventually.

Still, it's a PipBoy you can actually use with the game and a cool stand and case for it. That was easily worth the money to me.

When Gamestop bought out EB Games the Canada stores remained EB Games unlike the US stores which were all renamed as Gamestop. So yes, they are still a thing.

Good thing everybody bought them before even knowing the PC system requirements.

From the way it sounds, a bunch of the people who bought them aren't even going to play the game - they're just going to put them up for sale on eBay at several times the retail price.
