Its hardly a "lack of pip-boy editions" when they're intended to be limited collectors editions. They weren't just lacking in stock, they deliberately supplied the small amount that they did.
Beth already came out and said no more were being produced in order to maintain the integrity of the collectors edition. I doubt a petition is going to change anything.
You should be more frustrated with not getting one when they were available, and during the several re-stocks, than with Bethesda's supply.
I also suspect that Bethesda are cautious because if more were released, the prices the scalpers are offering would fall
and they would likely 'dump' their pre-orders leading to unsold stock for Bethesda.
Production lead times may also mean it's already too late to hit release date for a new batch.
Why not go onto Etsy.com or some similar websites? There are some people on these sites that make Pipboys for people who would like one. Since they are also useable with phones, I would believe that you could utilize the pipboys with the application that Bethesda will be releasing around the time of Fallout 4's release date.
I grabbed one the first second it came out, as did my brother. We told all our friends too, who all in turn reserved a copy. It was a rush, gone very soon after release, so sorry dude. Try the petition but even the last wave of them they made were only made because people kept bugging them. I doubt they'll do it again, just hope they do a post-release sale of them on their merchandise store.
I'm sorry but we do not allow petitions of any kind for any reason on this forum. Please refer to http://www.gamesas.com/topic/724862-forum-rules-and-general-information/
