Fallout 4 Pipboy Edition PC Help Please!

Post » Sun Nov 29, 2015 10:36 pm

First I want to say I love mine it looks amazing and makes the imersion that much better. Will svck when eventually if the app ever is no longer supported. Anyway got it for my Birthday yesterday and there is slight damage (one of the buttons was broken and was ratteling inside) it fell out and I was able to tape it on and you can barely notice. However I'd like a replacement but there is no way to contact Bethesda and talk to them on the phone directly (that I've found) the support links arent very helpful all assume acutual software issues and I am not getting a response. Any ideas? Again I love it and for the most part it looks great and was made well enough but I would like a response about a possible replacement.

They don't seem to have the old [email protected] email published anywhere.

So, try the following email or phone number

Mine also has a button that got pushed in as soon as I touched it. There seems to be no way of getting it back out without dismantling the whole thing, and that makes me nervous.

Was it a rectangular button? If so I just kept shaking it till it fell out. Also don't call that number. They will transfer you to the Elder Scrolls online tech support or a defunct tech support line. I will try the email. Worse comes to worse if you can get that to fall out simply trim the edges of it and use double sided tape on the hole (at least 10 lb strength). Then Push it in trim the tape and you'll never know the difference.

Support takes forever. So just be ready for the wait.

I'd try contacting https://twitter.com/DCDeacon on Twitter, he's usually pretty good about responding to people.

However, I wouldn't expect any sort of replacement. There weren't enough copies to sell to people, and I've seen people with seriously broken versions get turned away by retailers, so I doubt they have extra copies for a broken button.

Then I won't bother because I fixed it good enough that you'd have to use a magnifying glass to know that it broke in the first place.

What do you expect from a plastic product made in China (With all due respect for Chinese people!)?

I took mine apart to fix s pushed in buttom because i was too heavy handed with mine. Its very simple to fix, you only need a phillips head screw driver. There are two screws that have a flange on it so just remember where they go. To foam padding isnt glued in or anything it just pulls out.
