Classy! :)

Myself, I've been working on climbing out of piles of rubble and crawling through windows. Also a minor in squatting hunched over and drooling on the rags I'm wearing. I had a lot of help with that from the IRS this year....

Yep.

At 60 you reach the Old Coot milestone.

At 70 you reach the Old Fart milestone.

At 80 you reach the Crusty Old Fart milestone.

I am currently in cootdom and can't wait to become a Crusty Old Fart, because at that stage you are pretty much allowed to say and do anything you want and everyone will assume it is because of dementia and not say anything.

t's swell that young people play video games. I guess it's a good thing in a way. It keeps their brains active.

I expected this forum to run a little bit older than most of the internet, but holy moly.

Lol, no! That was just me being sarcastic. Although I can't play fallout when the grandkids or neighbor kids are here. Wouldn't want to traumatize the little ones with grandma blowing peoples heads off, etc.

Male, 50, on PC. I'm more a TES guy, bought Fallout 3 and NV, never played for long, expected FO4 to be the same one-hour-test-game, unfortunately und mysteriously got addicted.

There should be a 5:1 ratio for consoles to PC but it isn't. Interesting.

I remember you because you play(ed) melee (where I svck the big one), don't you? So your avatar is a male? :)

I feel a bit geriatric at times, but let's just say male and was a child when Atari was the thing back then. Glad joysticks approved back then. :P

The Age buckets need to be same size (5 years is good) and you need to account for under 18 year-olds.

That is the reason for not posting that - because it would be all counted against those players :P

less than 21 - kids have never good opinions

21-31 - still too young to tell gaming veterans what you disliked about their game

31-46 you don't have the right age for saying your opinions, we create games for teens

50+ sure, they have all wrong oppinions about gaming, and their advices about games would never be fun for others

I believe it is more about your personality what you like and don't like - maybe such thread would be even more interesting - your age and what kind of games you do prefer and if it changes with ageing in your life

Videogame forums always trend very heavily towards PC. This one even more than most. PC just attracts the more "hardcoe" crowd that is actually interested in going online and discussing their games with strangers. I kind of hate it, tbh. Means the feedback that the developers get is, more often than not, overly PC-centric.

I'm always happy to see these type of threads, because it shows again that one is NEVER EVER too old to be a gamer! YAY! :)

Female - 48 years young... actually, you can call me Petra Pan, because I refuse to get old hehe

Been PC gaming since the early Wolfenstein 3D, Duke Nukem and Doom days. There's nothing better than a great game to get lost in! :goodjob:
