I'm trying to get the X-01 power armor at the S. Boston Military Checkpoint, I have it saved right before discovery just incase its t-51 armor. My problem is when I go into the area the armor looks like X-01 but when I get into it, it changes into t-51. I was wondering if there is anyway to fix this so I can get the X-01 suit?


Note: I already got the X-01 sets at all other known locations in just starting a collection.

Once you get into the cell, it loads the power armor peices. Permanently.

The suit is loaded as a T-51, but for some reason, this is not reflected on the graphics if you arrived later.

So, you visited the cell too early before saving, or saved after the cell had loaded, locking the suit in. In other words, that suit is permanently a T-51 unless you are willing to reload a very old save, likely before you hit level 20.
